It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

Okay, this wasn't the Worst Movie that I have ever seen. But it was definitively not up to the Star Wars standard either. (but few movies are – not even the Star Wars Prequels were up to the Star Wars standard , so to expect a spin off CGI movie based on the Prequels to be on the same standard as the Star Wars Movies was probably going to be a stretch anyway.)- Much ado about nothing. This was supposed to be the two hour pilot for the Star Wars: Clone Wars CGI animated TV Show that aired on the Cartoon network, apparently George Lucas and his team at LucusFilm were so pleased with how this pilot episode turned out that they decided to release it as a stand alone movie at the theaters a full 6 months before the TV Show started. (Which they conveniently released it on DVD/Blu-Ray simultaneously as the TV Show was debuting and they were able to market it all together)::::::::::::::: SPOILER ALERTS::::::::The movie starts with Anakin Skywalker on a planet full of battle droids when his new Padiwan Learner arrives to help him. They work together to overcome the droid army, but then someone kidnaps the child of one of the Hutts, and of course the plot involves Count Dooku as the culprit.Honestly, I found the story in this movie to be a bit weak (I actually watched the TV Series, and to be honest with you, some of the Episodes were really good, I don't know how it is then that this ended up being the one that was the pilot and released in the theaters, because it wasn't as good as most of the standard episodes of the TV series .I believe this movie was an accident, and if they had it to do over again they would've never released this as a stand alone movie at the theaters (But that's just my opinion)…personally I am not a fan of this movie. It's best and only redeeming quality is that it dies have really good CGI-Animation, and I really loved the altered STAR WARS theme music they did for this movie (and the TV series).---other than that, bypass this movie and just go strait for the TV series which was much better than the movie was

Star Wars: The Clone Wars is a well made and well directed show that expands upon the classic movies before it, and it mends the wounds The Prequel Trilogy inflicted for many longtime fans of the franchise. The show isn't always smooth-sailing: some of the episodes focusing on too much on politics of 'Trade Negotiations' and 'Separatist *stuff*' can become tedious like these subplots; that were in The Phantom Menace.Despite some of the inherent flaws of The Prequels, The Clone Wars doesn't get weighed down by its unfortunate burden; it makes new stories more relevant to The Original Trilogy than many fans saw coming, like cryptic clues about what's to come in Episode IV: such as the power of the force, the afterlife of Jedis and the impending doom The Dark Side may unleash if The Republic doesn't fight back against The Sith Lords. The Clone Wars can afford to expand upon areas where The Prequel films could not do before: thanks to the flexibility of television serial-storytelling. There's breathing room for the story arcs to come full circle and leave you satisfied with what's to come. We see a lot of classic Star Wars stuff that sometimes teeters between plot-relevance to fan-service, but most of it is all there for a reason and does not go to waste. This show is what Star Wars fans have been wanting since The Prequel Trilogy finished; and even up against the newly released Star Wars Rebels cartoon it still holds up very well.

Currently finishing season 1. The animation is good (not as amazing as 2003 one though), the plotting is nice, and the pace is good too. But it's really lacking in drama, maybe lacking a bit too much for my taste. The spirit of Star Wars is really in the drama, in the soap behind the action and adventure. The characters in this show however are really lacking the dramatic personalities we see in the movies (which is why some like this show more than the movies, I suppose). The problem with that is that I cannot see at all the main character, Anakin, as someone who could ever possibly be Darth Vader. Now the 2003 2D animated Anakin was the only portrayal of Anakin that I think is the most believable in his potential to be both good and yet be capable of evil. The Clone Wars Anakin is really more like a typical wholesome action-adventure hero, who is super adept, has a sassy disregard for rules he is way too talented to bother with, and has a cool sarcastic relationship with Obi Won and Ahsoka.Padme also, who already unfortunately had very little personality even in the movies, really has no personality here other than as a 'stable, well meaning female senator." There also seems to be no build up for the relationship Anakin and Padme have. Anakin in fact seems way more closer to and understanding of Ahsoka and Obi than he does with Padme. Then, Ahsoka has more of her master's pizazz of being headstrong and wanting to follow the beat to her own drum. How many snappy, unruly and sassy Jedi are there really? Still she's pretty endearing. And really, all the characters in the show are pretty endearing. It really is more cutesy and wholesome offshoot of the prequels. After all, that is to be expected, the show aired on CN.Overall though, it is still an entertaining show with a lot of creativity and is still very much Star Wars -- traveling to strange planets, peace and war with various alien people, and lots of stylish pg-13 battle action.

This is a great T.V show and will bring many hours of enjoyment to people who are Star Wars fans and ones that are not.People under appreciate this great series of stories! First of all, character development is fantastic and after a few episodes you will be hooked! There are a few boring episodes but the ratio of good episodes to bad, have the good outweighing the bad 5:1. The voice acting on this show is great and the ties it makes with the Star Wars universe is a nice nod to Star Wars fans. The last season they made was the best of all and with the addition of old and new characters I strongly advise watching this T.V series.
