Awesome Movie

The film was still a fun one that will make you laugh and have you leaving the theater feeling like you just stole something valuable and got away with it.

I gave this film a 9 out of 10, because it was exactly what I expected it to be.

It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.

Supergirl is a pure 80s adventure flick with sometimes campy acting and an obscure story, compared to the more talked-about Superman films, which were made around the same time period. However, Supergirl has an interesting plot and is quite the entertaining film and loads of fun. There's also plenty of action and some humor as well.Grade B

Only on itself this movie is a mistake of continuity: if the planet Krypton was destroyed, as it is seen in the beginning of Superman, how can there be a city of survivors? The city of Argo miraculously escaped destruction by floating through space as Zaltar invented something as a small but powerful enough ball to create a bubble enveloping the meteorite thus sustaining atmosphere. Yeah...Kara, Superman's cousin, loses this technological marvel sphere and comes to Earth to recover it, having to face a witch who has seized the sphere and uses it to her evil advantage. Helen Slater is very handsome and does her best to play the role of a sweet heroine, but the whole film is compromised by a plot once again stupid and notoriously directed at the female audience with a romance in the middle that adds nothing to the story than to ignite the envy of the witch: notoriously directed at the female audience.PS: Very conveniently, almost at the beginning of the film, a radio broadcast reveals that Superman set out on a mission to a galaxy far away...

This is a terrible movie but it also fun to watch. Faye Dunaway is over the top and still seems to think she is making "Mommie Dearest".In this film Helen Slater plays the title role. She fly's to earth because it is her fault that the Omega thing.Now Kara Zor-El lives in an isolated Kryptonian community named Argo City, in a pocket of trans-dimensional space. A man named Zaltar allows Kara to see a unique and immensely powerful item known as the Omegahedron, which he has borrowed without the knowledge of the city government, and which powers the city. However, after a mishap, the Omegahedron is blown out into space. Much to the distress of her parents, Kara follows it to Earth (undergoing a transformation into "Supergirl" in the process) in an effort to recover it and save the city. Watch and laugh

This not as good as Superman. Superman II is also better. Superman III is also better. Superman IV the quest for pieces is also better. Superman returns is also better. Man of steel is also better. But still this is a great action. It has great acting. Great story line. Great special effects. This is spin off of the Superman movies. It as a lot of action If I was going to make movie about Super girl I would make Superman the main character. It's about time they made a movie with Superman and Super girl to gather. But still this is a good movie. I here a lot of c.r.i.t.c.i.s.e.m about this movie and I am sick of it. Because it is a great movie. This movie is a most see. Do not lesson to the c.r.i.t.c.i.s.e.m. Ignore it. This movie is underrated.
