View MoreOne of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.
View MoreThe movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
View MoreDamn you Supernatural and Dark Angel. You made me love Jensen Ackles, currently playing Dean Winchester on CW's Supernatural. I started to look into what other films you might be in. Just to see your type-casted lovable character. The total misunderstood sweetheart and loyal, bad boy. So you ended up playing the same character in Ten Inch Hero. I was happy even though you had a punk rock out cast look. What I hated was the movie. I wasn't expecting too much but the cast made it semi-promising and enjoyable.I was expecting something along the lines of Sex and Death 101. BUT NO! That could not happen. Even though I like Clea DuVall 's work in HBO's Carnivale, the movie Identity, among many other things . and the guy from Boondocks Saint is in this film. Sean Patrick Flanery if you wonders what he's been in.. well this is one of them.(*huge side note, I watched Boondock Saints II All Saints Day, and it sucked. William Dafoe was only in one scene and it is an exact replica of the first.. Also Sean Patrick Flanery got all bloaty in the face and he looked like Edward Norton, in my humble opinion. Which isn't too awful of a comment.)Overall this film was trying to bring many stories together, with the common hold of all the people work at a sandwich shop. It had purpose in the beginning, but then it fell apart with it's focus on facts rather than good cinema.I felt no connection with the characters, although I could imagine how someone might feel in their situation, but it was just too hokey dory for my taste. Although it had its moments in a little bit of funny parts, you can just tell how great I feel about a movie when all I comment on are the actors and what distracted me from the screen.I do admit this movie does cater to others. But, at times I felt it was worth watching just to see Jensen Ackles in a Mohawk and in a kilt and buying tampons.
View MoreI don't know how, but this film inspired me to start drawing again and I am very grateful for that. It was simple with quite a normal story and a range of characters, which obviously doesn't sound very special, but after a stroke of comedy through the beginning to reel you in to the characters it really accentuated the insecurities of all these different people. This leads to a connection between them and with love they have for each other, as a family they've created, it really warms your heart. Everyone hopes for a family like this, with the closeness they have and the knowledge that, through your troubles, they will always be there to help you through.
View Moreloving comedy that is like a fun home movie between friends.Think of your normal friend circle and the personalities that come together and make it work. not everyone loves everyone else, but the dynamics make the group wonderful.should be the next cult classic :) lots of great moments, plenty of relate able characters, lots of quark, and down to earth plot. It's short and sweet, simple and deep.Cast of actors and actresses did wonderfully in portraying every day people and every day situations that fill all of our lives.I completely recommend this. Everyone i know who i've gotten to watch it, have fallen in love with some aspect.
View MoreFirst of all, the movie's title - double entendre with sexual meaning - is not associated with the story except one or two brief jokes. I'm sure it sells better though. It's about the staff of the nice, cozy restaurant and their lives. What I'd like to point out, the characters are very well written, all of them are very appealing with whatever they're going through and have to say. They're revealing their true nature throughout the whole movie in sort of subplots that actually create the common multiplot of the movie. The nature of the film is a warm comedy, and bit of romance that comes in very non intrusive way. The acting is great, the scenes are OK and dialogs funny and interesting. I gave this movie 10 out of 10 for perfection, but as my expectations were low and experience great, mathematically speaking, it would deserve even more. If all comedies were this clever and witty, I would sure watch them more often.
