The Carmilla Movie Trailers

It has been five years since Laura and Carmilla vanquished the apocalypse and Carmilla became a bonafide mortal human. They have settled in to a cozy apartment in downtown Toronto, Laura continues to hone her journalism skills while Carmilla adjusts to a non-vampire lifestyle. Their domestic bliss is suddenly ruptured when Carmilla begins to show signs of "re-vamping" – from a fondness for bloody treats to accidental biting – while Laura has started having bizarre, ghostly dreams. The couple must now enlist their old friends from Silas University to uncover the unknown supernatural threat and save humanity – including Carmilla's.

Best movie ever!

Curt

Watching it is like watching the spectacle of a class clown at their best: you laugh at their jokes, instigate their defiance, and "ooooh" when they get in trouble.

An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.

Aren't we sick of these gay pandering flicks already? Well here's another. And the ONLY reason it has gotten a 7 rating is because of the gay agenda. And normal person would have to admit that it looks like it was made for 20 cents. The acting sucks and it has the feel of a horrible local TV show.Absolute garbage

This is a great movie, LGBT folks are lucky to have Carmilla. The jump from the webseries to the big screen is just magic. The chemistry between the two main actresses is wonderful. About the plot: the movie covers a wide range of genres: horror, comedy, romance...and it feels right!I hope they go for a sequel because the story of the Tiny Journalist and her girlfriend (who may be a vampire...or not) seems like it's far from over.

I only discovered the series just over a year ago and once I found out there was a movie being made, and after binge watching the series at least 5 times, I was so hyped to see the film. When the movie was released I jumped to watching it as soon as I could. There was twists and turns and the plot was amazing, especially learning about Carmilla's past with Elanor and more about how Carmilla became who she is today. I laughed, I cried and I enjoyed it even more than I did with the series. A massive thank you to everyone involved in making this film possible and showing more queer representation in the media. I hope that Shaftesbury will continue to carry on the series and continue to make great content for the LGBTQ+ community, especially since they ended the film the way they did.
