"Do not wait to long" Is the films message, and it is meant to encourage people to go to the doctor once any cancer symptoms occur. It is about a friendly elderly doctor and a newly hired nurse, who see to the cancer patients and advise them about there treatments. In between patients, the doctor explains several things about lip and vaginal cancer to the nurse, and shows her the progression of cancer through images. The first woman dies because she prioritizes vacation over treatment, but the rest of the patients are all cured from there ailments. The film was funded by the Danish national film fund, and promotes the, then, three radium stations in Copenhagen, Odense and Aarhus.
