A Masterpiece!
It is not only a funny movie, but it allows a great amount of joy for anyone who watches it.
View MoreIt is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review
View MoreA film of deceptively outspoken contemporary relevance, this is cinema at its most alert, alarming and alive.
View MoreI was the runner and a production coordinator on this event as I used to work for Fugitive TV & Video's and Features. It was an amazing and emotional journey for many people, resulting in a beautiful triumph that everyone was proud to be part of. God bless Queen, Jim, Dominic and Ray, Julie and everyone at Queen Productions for making this monumental day so special. The highlight for me was David Bowie and Annie Lennox and the mighty Guns & Roses. I wonder what everyone is doing now? If Dave Laidlaw reads this review get in-touch. A memorable moment back stage was seeing the gorgeous Cindy Crawford in the flesh only for the moment to be then dampened by Janis Street Porter's arrival on the scene, I remember saying to my mate "Well you have to take the rough with the smooth" and we fell about laughing....LOL (Only joking Janis...we love you really)
View MoreThis concert tribute to the late Freddie Mercury (frontmen of legendary UK rock band QUEEN) is a great performance. There are so many guest appearances, including Elton John, Def Leppard and Axl Rose. There are many musical performances, but the most popular -- and best -- has to be the reinterpretation of Queen's most famous song, Bohemian Rhapsody, which is performed here by Elton John and Axl Rose. It's a great performance, a great song -- and it sounds (arguably) even better with John and Rose singing it. (Although Queen fans may disagree on that one.) Overall this is a great performance and everyone involved is giving 100%. And for the record, I absolutely loved the performance of We Will Rock You, which is probably the second best song here - and it's really well performed.Worth watching.
View MoreThis concert was everything it lived up to be. The bands did a very good job performing. My personal favorite performance was the one put on by Extreme. The tape showed alot of Archive footage of Freddie Mercury, as well as Queen. From the beginning of Queen's career, to the very end.The concert has alot of great moments, especially Liz Taylor making her big begging speech to the crowd. The tape is for everyone, Queen fans, or fans wanting to know about Queen. The same goes for Freddie Mercury as well. This is real great concert to watch, rent it, or buy it, you will be very pleased.
View MoreThis was/is a terrific concert. Of course, one of the biggest and best surprises has been revealed--namely, the appearance of Mercury's favorite singer Liza Minnelli at the end to close the show (as I'm a Liza fan, I was stunned and delighted when this was aired live). She does a fab version of "We Are The Champions". You go, girl.
