Best movie ever!

This is a good movie for the first time you see it. It's creative, and Amy Adams does a wonderful job here. However, I've watched it only twice, and the second time I watched it, though I was laughing, it felt forced and fake. I didn't enjoy it, and the two times I watched the movies were around five years apart. There's also a "talent" Walter is supposed to have, but it looks real dumb. What I do enjoy is seeing our classic characters Kermit and Miss Piggy. So, enjoyable first watch but okay and not that great the second. Not worth keeping or a family classic.

No matter how old we are, deep down we all love The Muppets to some degree. If you don't, you have no heart and should see someone. This film sums up all the joys that the Muppets bring and have brought to us. It's a real gem that puts a big smile on your face from start to finish. As the writer and actor, Jason Segal creates a really fun path for these fury puppets. He adds consistent humor and writes funny one- liners for everyone, while also creating a sweet tale of friendship and delivering a silly performance that may even be his best. This is a perfect film for families and helps relaunch the classic characters' lives back into the fun and silly action for one good time.

Dull, ponderous, packed with clichés, entirely lacking the creativeness , inventiveness, zaniness and general humanity with which Henson and his original team imbued the whole Muppet story. Instead, under the dead hand of Disney, we get yet another "road/let's put on a show/anyone can be anything at all they want if they really, really try!" piece of processed movie-making which does nothing at all to salute the unique creativity of Henson and co. After about half an hour, I found the only bits I was enjoying were the appearances by Amy Adams, whom the camera likes and who has real star quality as well as being a very good singer and dancer (classically trained, I suspect?) (Her male counterpart, Jason Segal, lacked all of these qualities and came across, like the movie as a whole, as wooden and lifeless). NOT the tribute to Henson I wanted to see and I can only hope that, out of respect for his spirit, this now really is the end of attempts to revive the Muppets and people go back to the VHS recordings of the originals instead.

The Muppets were, and always be, a thing in my family. The only doll I ever found out that my dad has is a Fozzie Bear. I rest my case. The Muppets are for everyone and goes back multiple generations. And that must have been what Jason Segel was thinking when he came up with the idea of a new Muppet movie, because this movie is one big nostalgia fest! Sometimes it relies a bit too much on the old movies (roadtrip like the first Muppet Movie), but it throws enough new ideas (and awesome songs) to make this movie a new classic! The Oscar-winning "Man or Muppet"is just one song of the awesome soundtrack this movie has. Songs like "Life's a Happy Song" and "Me Party" are guaranteed to get stuck in your head. The humor is good and emotional ones are beautiful. I was happy to see the gang back together and I absolutely loved it!
