Slow pace in the most part of the movie.

Self-important, over-dramatic, uninspired.

Purely Joyful Movie!

n my opinion it was a great movie with some interesting elements, even though having some plot holes and the ending probably was just too messy and crammed together, but still fun to watch and not your casual movie that is similar to all other ones.

Had some good bits, and a lot of promise.Didn't have much of a script. Some scenes are terrible padding to fill out the sketch.Some funny characters, but again the lazy script went for cheap cheap laughs instead of stretching the tiniest bit to be original (see "joke, fart") that is done over and over.Disappointing because it could have been something consistently enjoyable and reasonably original. As it is, it wasted a lot of the actors' time...and mine.

In recent years, a number of horror films have consisted of little more than small groups of people walking around in dark or semi-dark buildings fighting at times intangible enemies. Some succeed, some do not. "The Night Watchmen" succeeds. A rock musician quits the music scene and the only job he can get is as a night security guard for the "Baltimore Gazette" newspaper. He has a baptism of fire because a famous clown and his entire troupe who had died from a mysterious illness while on tour in Romania have been repatriated, and someone opens his coffin to take a ghoulish souvenir.Soon, the building is crawling with vampires, and the nightwatch team - four men and an office girl - are hemmed in from all sides. It takes only a few minutes for the viewer to realise this film is not to be taken too seriously. It succeeds partly because of the soundtrack but largely because of a non-stop stream of wisecracks, innuendo and at times toilet humour.

Came in with low expectations and was very pleased by the time the credits rolled. The writing was pretty good and they made the best movie they could have given the budget they were working with. The gore was well executed and the SFX teams did a fantastic job.I don't think I've ever watched a low budget movie like this and been so blown away by the editing and sound crews. Honestly, the sound crew and gaffers knocked it out of the park. The editing crew also made their cuts perfectly and there are no lingering nonsense shots. Everything was tight and cohesive. If you are a fan of the horror comedy genre, this is an absolute "must see" of a film and I guarantee you will have a few laugh out loud moments.

This film is a LOT of fun with some great gags, throwaway lines and terrific acting, script and direction. The crew knows EXACTLY what they are going for and they deliver in spades. Highly recommended and a LOT of fun!The cast really engages in the film and it looks like everyone is having a lot of fun. It reminded me of RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD in that the set up begins with the characters, which is a key to its success. And then it just builds and builds and it's hoot to see all that happens.
