I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

I really liked this movie sixties Korean, a very significant work of anti- imperialism Japanese and everything is told with a dry style, practical and realistic, and I do not exaggerate in saying I can say that is one of the best films of Kim Ki-young . The lines of dialogue I found them very well made, to quote the sequence in which a Japanese soldier absolutely manifest their superior an obvious contempt for Koreans integrated in the Japanese army, and the latter replied in a cold way: "In our army we have dogs and horses, I do not see the problem" Or the sequence in which the Korean protagonist is forced to endure acts of hazing by the Japanese fellow soldiers and one of them is forced to lick the dung filthy boots. This is to emphasize the supremacy of 'Japanese imperialism, the author of all kinds of coercion and barbarism. I wanted to point out that in two parts of the film unfortunately for several minutes no sound! I tried several possibilities but unfortunately reviews on the internet about the film there is really very little and would like to know me more, because precisely because of the lack audio about the two audio portions left me doubts. According to my interpretation of the two sequences in which there is Kim Ji-mi, who has the role of the Korean sent to Japan to make people forget the Japanese girl to the protagonist. In conclusion, The Sea Knows is a movie to be viewed, in addition to being very interesting, makes also reflect.
