Excellent, Without a doubt!!

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

Easily the biggest piece of Right wing non sense propaganda I ever saw.

Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.

I took my son to see this with every intention of watching a completely goofy movie since we love other titles such as The Jerk, Airplane, etc. However, we couldn't sit through more than ten minutes before getting up and leaving the theater, fore-fitting our admission cost and all. It was just TOO stupid, so stupid that my brain was starting to hurt. So, despite the fact that 10 minutes isn't enough to give it a fair assessment, I think leaving a moving after only 10 minutes is a testimony of its own. I may see if I can find this on Netflix to see if my 15 year old memories of it are still accurate. And it may be worth the time to get some Mystery Science Theater style entertainment out of this train-wreck.

I absolutely find this movie to be very entertaining, funny, and full of great lines! Due to the mixed reviews and somewhat low ratings, I'd definitely consider this film to be a cult classic. Winning the Razzie Award for Worst Actor must have been a dream come true for Tom Arnold and he's sure at his best in this very movie! Possibly the best part in this movie is the song "I'm My Own Grandpaw", sung by Tom Arnold! The song is very nostalgic and funny! I don't care if this film wasn't well-received or if it grossed a reasonably small amount of money. I still love this movie, and for all those who are giving this film negative reviews, return your negative reviews to Sender! This film is one of the cult best!

It doesn't seem like this movie would work, but it does! A great family film with some moments that would be classic, if properly advertised.Tom Arnold does a horrible job, but that doesn't mean a thing, because it just adds to the greatness of the movie! The main characters all overact the crap out of their roles, making the whole movie just hilarious. Many people hate this because the acting is horrible, and the plot is generic. With most of the crap family movies out that are considered gold, I can't understand how this movie isn't more highly talked about.Highly recommended!

Let's get something straight right off the bat. I'm a MSTie, which those of you in the know means I'm an avid fan of the cult hit Mystery Science Theater 3000. This show revolved around a guy and his 2 robots who were stuck in outer space and forced to watch THE worst movies of all time, and make fun of them. What does this have to do with The Stupids? Well, I love MST3K and bad movies, but even I wasn't prepared for HOW HORRIBLE this movie was. Ah, ahhh! I jus-AHH! I didn't even see the entire thing, but I started watching around the halfway point cuz it was on TV and I was curious. Curiosity killed the cat. It killed the cat and hit it repeatedly with a stick, and urinated on it, and yet the cat didn't suffer half of what it would have if it had decided to just watch some of The Stupids.The movie fails to be funny in every single way. The parts that were made to be funny arn't. The parts that arn't supposed to be funny are disappointing and lame. Then they try to make up for the lameness with more unfunny made to be funny lameness and disapointingness. Everything is predictable and downright, ugh, HORRIBLE. Tom Arnold, as if his life weren't bad enough, chose to be in this stinkburger of a movie. Oh god I feel dirty just writing about it. Who are these child actors and are they out of the business for good now? Nothing is worse than a horrible movie with a decent budget.I have a great sense of humor, but my word, what an absolutely terrible waste of film and waste of time. I warn every one of you, don't. Just don't. This is more painful than a million "Manos" Hands of Fates. 0 out of 10 -andreW
