Some things I liked some I did not.
Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.
View MoreAt first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
View MoreThis is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
View MoreI saw this low-budget regional horror flick for the first time in September 2010.The plot of "The Wednesday Children" centers around eleven year old blonde boy Scott Miller(Tom Kelly). The boy feels alienated and unloved because his parents are uncaring. His father is more interested in his job and his collection of plane models;his hysterical mother enjoys her wig too much. It's up to eccentric Mister Fenton(Al Miskell)to save Scott and the group of local children from their self-absorbed parents. The film was shot in Wadsworth,Ohio and directed by Robert D.West, who was local Wadsworth preacher. It plays like Christian version of "Children of the Corn",so it obviously lacks nudity, gore and profanity.Still it's a charming and very pleasant horror drama.6 disappearing parents out of 10.
