The story-telling is good with flashbacks. The film is both funny and heartbreaking. You smile in a scene and get a soulcrushing revelation in the next.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

There's not much to be said because this is just one of those slopped together movies (no offense) that they release to stall for other movies or just a failed attempt at some sort of blockbuster, which then also turns into one of those clichés with predictable outcomes like "the bag is gone" "the villain comes at the most predictable moment to shoot someone or something" "they all make it through at the end alive with minor loss", and of course "the villain dies at the end". Now no offense to those actors but there were times were the just just blew it like what they said or did, what they could of did, the consequences, ETC. so it's just pretty much one of those average low effort/budget with cheap and unforgiving thrills the die out at the worst times.

A dysfunctional family decides to get back on the road to functionality with a vacation. Oh no. Enter the bad guys. a formula that to be kind is well, formula. The bad guys are an evil-eyed psycho (that somehow, always manage to get someone to fall in love with them), another that is even worse (he has no woman) and a middle-of-the-road kinda guy who is only a sociopath. The family has a white collar ex-con Father ("it was only mortgage fraud", he says..."Only?," says the cop) a disbelieving nervous wife, who can handle an assault rifle when needed, a foul- mouthed, drug smoking teen (who does make some smart decisions), and a little fella that just loves having Dad back. There are some exciting road antics and shoot-em-ups, a couple of mild twists. But there are way too many close-ups and camera shaking and swirling that is a sign of a low-budget and a talent limited Director.

Here's The Lowedown on "Transit" (A Thriller DVD review)...LIKED IT!!Become a fan of The Lowedown on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/The-Lowedown/386583633764Genre: 8 Movie: 6 What's it about? The camping trip was meant to reunite the Sidwell family. When they are hunted and terrorized by violent bank robbers, their very survival will depend on working together. What did I think? I threw this in my player not expecting much. Then my alarm went off and I woke up to an intense thriller with all the fat trimmed off. Sometimes you want a simple, straightforward approach to a film with no complications or unnecessary twists. When you're in that mood...put this one in your player.

I watched the movie because Jim Caviezel is in it. The movie is not that bad, but could be better. One thing I am wondering about is that how an ordinary woman can shoot that good with an ak47? And how can a person stays alive if his/her car blows off? There are also some other parts that confused me. I can not say those here. You will understand if you watch the movie. The concept is good. So is the acting. This movie will not waste anybody's time that much. It will certainly entertain the viewers to a level. But I am sorry to say that it is not a movie to remember. So guys, you may watch it, and have a good time..
