I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
View MoreWhile it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.
View MoreThere's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.
View MoreThis is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama
View MoreI accidentally came across this film. It was a Channel 4 doc, and in the first minute I felt like I was accidentally going to watch a sappy yet terrible cheap tears doc feasting on the tragedy of others. But I think it was the opposite. What a beautiful documentary. This has a second layer to just telling the horrible things that happened to these victims of a disaster no one is to blame for. "What happens to a person who's lives through an unspeakable disaster." should be the under title of this film. Car crashes and boob slips are "Caught on Camera". This is a doc that Janice Sutherland should get credit for. Well done. However, there were a few gaps. There are multiple characters in this film that don't get the chance to tell what happened to them. That's really too bad.
