Plot so thin, it passes unnoticed.
Just so...so bad
A lot of fun.
A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.
View MoreCan anyone help me? Couldn't believe my eyes when I first saw this movie. Of extra special interest to me is the Chevy Impala ( the star of the movie ) which I would bet my life on being once owned by my late father. If anyone out there has any info about the car, scrapped or still on the road, whatever, I would love to hear from you. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the film until the guys stopped seeing eye to eye and started to get a bit rough with her on those narrow streets, I was watching through nail bitten fingers!! When my dad sold the Chevy I was about twelve or so, and I am now almost forty.I have searched my memory and double checked my photos and I am convinced she is the one. If you can please help. Many thanks, Ian.
View MoreIf anyone has ever watched both Vroom and then Chancer in succession they may have spotted that the closing scene in Vroom neatly flows thru into the opening scene in Chancer. Not to give too much away but Clive Owen throws the keys out of his classic car in the last scene in Vroom only to catch a set of thrown classic car keys in the opening scene of Chancer, and the could be looking at each other. Can't find any common people on both except for Clive Owen...did he suggest it? Looking at the Vroom story line and characters it could also be a prehistory of Derek Love pre Chancer...Maybe he was also called Jake. Excellent films both of them.
View MoreA road movie about road movies. Two young men hope to fulfill their dreams by hitting the open road in a classic American car they have lovingly restored. Taking along the sultry divorcee with whom one of them has fallen in love is an idea bound to cause tension. A quirky and worthwhile drama, with David "Naked" Thewlis impressive again and even the normally plastic Clive Owen giving a good account of himself.
