It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.
View MoreThere is just so much movie here. For some it may be too much. But in the same secretly sarcastic way most telemarketers say the phrase, the title of this one is particularly apt.
View MoreExcellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.
View MoreThere is definitely an excellent idea hidden in the background of the film. Unfortunately, it's difficult to find it.
View MoreI saw this film over a year ago and loved it and wanted to show my support. I find it interesting that another reviewer(did you actually see the movie) took the time to research every reviewer for this movie in particular. You have something against the filmmaker or have nothing better to do with your time than bash and criticize.I happen to be a HUGE Ronnie Marmo fan, saw the play, and loved the movie. I hope that meets with the approval of this reviewer. I don't know what else to say except I adored the film and the actors. God forbid someone actually like Ronnie and the rest of the cast. The horror of it. Perhaps the reviewer should spend their time reviewing films they really watch versus spending time criticizing what they know nothing about.
View MoreI had the opportunity to catch a screening of WoB and wow, Ronnie was fantastic. Hopefully it will get distributed or available to an audience soon. I think people will absolutely love the film. It has comedy, warmth, heart, friendship, great dialogue, and some great actors including the always fabulous Joe Mantegna. I thought the actress who played Matty, Natalia Livingston, was very sweet and gorgeous, although I'd never seen her in anything before, she and Sebi/Ronnie made a great team. I last saw Ronnie in his one man Lenny Bruce show and he was terrific. This movie just continues to showcase how talented he is. Loved the film and good luck to all involved.
View MoreA couple of fans of Natalia Livingston's and I went to see this movie when it premiered in LA at the 68 Cents Theatre in LA a couple of months back. I have been anxiously awaiting some sort of release date but nothing at this point which is a shame because a lot of people are missing out on a great movie. As a fan of Natalia's, we all thought she was terrific. She was vulnerable, sweet, sensitive in this movie like she is in person. As for the rest of the cast, I think the lead Ronnie Marmo who also wrote this film is another undiscovered talent in Hollywood along with Natalia. He is one of the best things about this film and the story he wrote here is just so real and heartwarming. I saw the film Juno and even though the subject matter in this film and Juno were completely different, it reminded me of that movie maybe be cause there was humor and heartbreaking moments throughout the film. When Sebi's mom died I was crying.Anyway, I have no idea how and when this is going to be released. I just hope they get this film into a film festival so that many others in the industry can see how wonderful a movie this is. It is a travesty that this movie has not been distributed yet. Audiences out there are really missing out on a lovely independent film. Little Miss Sunshine here we come.
View MoreI actually never post reviews here but I thought what the heck for a change. So I registered and here I am.OK I just saw this movie a couple of weeks back and originally went to see it because I know Ronnie Marmo's stuff and wanted to see his new film. He is a great great great talent I must say. Well this movie was not at all disappointing. It had everything I love in a movie. Humor, sadness, and fun. The cast was wonderful and it seemed to me while watching this movie that they all must be friends in real life. They were just that believable on screen. The actress who played Matty I never heard of, Natalia Livingston, but she was wonderful and beautiful and sweet. . And Ronnie. Well I hesitate to comment because he was terrific but this was not a surprise. His story and movie. This fella is a super talent. I hope this movie can gain a fan base and some momentum cannot imagine anyone seeing this movie and not loving it. It is just one of those films everyone would love if they had a chance to see it. Great job to everyone involved and people need to spread the word and get this movie more exposure. Wonderful job people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
