Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.

The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.

This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.

Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.

it's said that they decided to delivery a 2000s teenager movie with it's worst in it. were are all the good gore and jokes? the actor that replaced the Djinn is real bad. we just continue to watch this hoping that the end it's going to be, at least, nice. and the other actors don't help in it. actually, the Djinn isn't the central character of the movie. they changed everything that was good and replaced for some "Scream" s#it version.

Considering I haven't watched the previous movies and don't watch many old time horrors this movie was great. The storyline was good and kept you thinking throughout the whole movie but was also pretty predictable which occurs in most movies now anyway. The Gore and the graphics were good considering it was made quite a few years ago and isn't as horrifying as say ghost ship but still good graphics. The movie jumped strait into the story line with not much back story but it worked for this movie and was very glad I didn't need to watch the previous movies to understand what was going on. Overall very excited to watch number 4 and will defiantly give older movies a chance in the future.

,,,,,,,,,,, compared to the other last two movie in the series. I found the plot in this, way to silly even for the Wishmaster series and they tame down on the gore as well.I love gory kills in the first two movie, that what makes these movies more fun, that is another reason, why I didn't like it.As it was not fun to watch at all, like the other in the series. I hated the effect and that there new actor playing The Djinn, I just could not get used to him playing this role. he nothing compared to NathanielDemerest who fitted the role perfectly. The acting in this movie was not too bad, better then I expected to be. Also hated the ending of this what really poor way to end. 3 out of 10 (That 3 Points are for the acting)

I won't watch this film without the sound turned off, the stereo pounding out punk rock and at least a fifth of whiskey in my hand. However, the beautiful creature suit for the djinn itself held out well enough to be used again in Wishmaster 4, so at least the creature effects crew and I did our job well. Say that about the writers and actors, if you can keep a straight face. This film bought me an air conditioner for my car, and for that I love it. But really folks, we came to see the djinn, not the sexual-predator college professor he was pretending to be. Only five minutes of screen time for my beautiful djinn suit...sickening. Josh and the guys who made that monster so real and so scary, we were all disappointed that you almost never see the djinn in his real form. I agree, the new actor couldn't hold a candle to the original, but hey, the new guy worked for A lot less money. I'd tell you to buy this direct to video (as part of the collection) but A: I don't even own it myself, and B: I don't get any royalties. This is schlock worthy of Troma (who are also a great bunch of guys to work with!). My vote is 10 for the crew and 1 for the writers and actors.
