As a mother, with a son who can't control her, an abusive husband who can't stand up to her, and finally being chased by a child who can't defend herself, it's a lot weaker than the mothers in Silent Hill. It's a good thing we have a nice cop to help, but it's not strong. It ended badly. I thought it was all over.

The second episode takes the suspense out of it, and watching the movie over and over again is more like timing. Dylan and the heroine seem not weak at the end of the film, but for the horror film is dispensable. The rat bite is amazing.
