The two Warner Brothers Yakko and Wakko and their Warner sister Dot had been (supposedly) created in the 1930's, but their cartoons were too screwy for the general public to handle. The three Warners were locked up in the studio water tower until they escaped in the 90's. There, they run wild, causing chaos everywhere!

Animaniacs Audience Reviews

Melanie Bouvet The movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.
Aubrey Hackett While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.
Kaydan Christian A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
Francene Odetta It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
timcurcio-90786 What a fun show! Yacko, Wacko and Dock are off the hook funny and truly zany to the max! This show is lit even to this day and as a viewer in these troubled times it is good to find myself smiling and rubbing my belly with a big belly laugh!!!!! What good old fashioned yukks, not like the "political" humor of Daily Show et all. Wicked themes have their place but not in a funny cartoon! And there's even some heart-felt segments like the ones with the candle or that sweet gold wrapping paper that have no jokes at all. Thanks Stephan Spielberg for making such an evergreen humor gem. Spoiler alert: you'll laugh your sokks off!Hello, nurse!!!!Tim C.
Ryan Rogers When I was younger, I used to watch Animaniacs and had a blast. But now I can't seem to find this show on T.V. anymore. What happened? The only way I can watch this fantastic show now is just by watching clips I find on You Tube. I know that the first 3 volumes of Animaniacs is on DVD, but where is the 4th volume? It would be completing the show, right? I would get it on DVD, but it seems like the only way it seems to get it is online. The show fantastic non the less, the writing is clever, the songs are memorable, voice acting is great, and animation is nicely done. If it wasn't for the fact that the complete series isn't even out on DVD or at least back on T.V., I'd get it a 10 out of 10. And since I can't use fractions in the rating, it has to be a 9 out of 10. personally, I'd give it a 9.7 out of 10 for that one little factor, but whatever. A great show for all ages, hands down.
insomniac_rod "Animaniacs" is a prime example of how a cartoon can be a roller coaster ride when you mix crazy characters, weird but funny situations, and clever and witty jokes. This is "Animaniacs"; a cult classic cartoon from the 90's.The situations, jokes, and even dialogs paved the road for a new kind of cartoon humor later consolidated by "Pink and The Brain".Thanks to this show we have the famous "hellooooooo nuuuuuuurse" line that is part of my childhood now.Give this show to this irreverent show that will crack many laughs from you. Really, a funny show suit for all ages.
josephtheowl I remember episodes that to this day tug at my heartstrings. One was where they document the travels of a piece of discarded Christmas wrapping paper, another was when a pair of gloves decide to split and try to make it on their own. And one was where Slappy Squirrel has an episode and her nephew Skippy feels so distraught and helpless. And then there was the movie where Dot seemingly 'dies'. Even as a 7 year old boy, I learned what it meant to feel humbled. And then I think about what's on weekdays and Saturday mornings nowadays. Spongebob Squarepants. Loonatics. And a thousand and one kinds of unoriginal anime. They will never hold a candle to the days when the Warner Brothers, and the Warner sister, ruled the golden screen and entertained millions of children. Through laughter and the occasional tear, kids could enjoy a program that didn't belittle their blossoming intelligence. And this was a show that both kids and parents could share a few laughs here and there, something that rarely happens these days when both parents have to work.I checked what's on around the 300pm to about 500pm schedule after school and realized that there are no more cartoons outside of cable. There's no more after school specials. What do kids get instead after a long day at school to cheer them up? "Reba". "My Wife and Kids". "King of Queen". "Dr. Phil".It seems that the days of wit, charm, slapstick, and heart are lost to those in cartoonland, and apparently, so is the Wheel of Morality.
