You won't be disappointed!
SERIOUSLY. This is what the crap Hollywood still puts out?
View MoreA film of deceptively outspoken contemporary relevance, this is cinema at its most alert, alarming and alive.

Let me start off saying that I have never seen the UK version. I was looking through Netflix trying to find something new to watch. I had never heard of "Being Human" so I thought I would check it out. It had me hook line and sinker within the first 10 minutes. The characters were well written, and I enjoyed the story. At least give it a few episodes before you write it off. This show is very much character driven. Also if you are a fan of vampires, werewolves, and ghosts then this show is for you!I think the 3rd Season was by far the best season. All of them were great in their own way, but the 3rd Season had a bit more excitement to it in my opinion. Aidan, Josh, and Sally are like the ultimate trio. Although they do not seem like they would make a great team because of them being so different from each other it is quite the opposite. Their friendship makes them stronger. I will say this. Pay attention to detail when you are watching this show. I do not want to give too much away (SPOILER ALERT) but there is some time traveling involved! I hope you enjoy this Series as much as I did.
View Morethe best thing about this show is the characters. sally, Aiden and josh. they have a beautiful bond and friendship. there always there for each other. helping each other get through there lives. it's a good supernatural show about a werewolf, vampire and ghost who live together and try to get through there life's and live a normal life . it's got it's emotional moments as well as funny moments. sally is really funny, quirky and bubbly. josh is just a total sweetheart and Aiden is awesome. this show is so sweet and beautiful. I love there friendship between them. even if your not into paranormal shows, this show is still worth a watch. It's entertaining and interesting. it got me hooked. I love it. I really wish they didn't stop the show. it was so good
View MoreI started out watching the UK version of being human. Loved it, have them all, seen them all! A hilarious supernatural TV show that I can watch over and over again. It's got drama, humour, love, and many human aspects to it. The only issues I noticed was that Annie's rules of being a ghost were confusing; and Mitchell's blood lust was more like an addiction, like alcoholism, not a method of survival like in the US version. Season 4 and 5 of the UK version weren't as good as they could've been. I also love the US/Canadian version of the series. Have them all, seen them all so far, and I think I'll always be a dedicated fan to the series. This version has much more drama, and reveals Aiden's blood lust as the only way he attains sustenance. He drinks bagged blood vs. Mitchell can eat pizza and drink tea. However, it reveals more about the politics in the world they live in. The US version does lack the dry humour that they had in the UK version. It also solves the issues they had in the UK version that I mentioned before.I hope they add characters other than vampire, werewolf, or ghost creatures. The UK version had a succubus. Maybe they'll put something like that or a were-tiger, pixie, etc. Put an interesting spin that might attract more fans.
View MoreWhen I first saw a commercial for this on Syfy, I couldn't wait! I hadn't known that this was a remake and thought it seemed like quirky comedy that's plot sounded like a punchline of a funny joke. But I was wrong. The episodes always answers "It can't possibly get any worse" with "Oh yes it can!" In almost of the episodes i've seen the show generally ends int he characters in a montage of sadness sitting in grey areas looking forlorn to depressing indie music thinking back upon the selfish mess that are their lives. Its just devastating to watch these characters have worse and worse lives. Only a couple characters stand out in this series too, and one would be Sally. I liked them all at first, but Josh just started to seem to strange to relate to at all and they started playing up the "I can't help being dangerous" thing with Aiden so much that he now just seems like a detestable, selfish character. Sally always just seemed to be the little beam of light in the show as I found her story the most interesting, but in the second season with all the disturbing and horrible things she's done and scene, her cute Sally humor is just most likely to fade. I used to like this show but there is no lightness and humor, and having the characters just being depressed doesn't make for a fun show to look forward too. I will tune in to watch the next season but I just can't see how anything is going to change.
