    A Masterpiece!

Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.

The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

A friend recommended this to me so I gave it a go and was instantly hooked. The show skates on thin ice, hideously un-PC, bad language despite bleeps, more or less every -ist going but is actually clever, witty and well observed. It doesn't single out anyone, indeed everyone and everything is set up for abuse, that's why I love it. Laugh out loud belly laughs all round. But, don't watch if you're easily offended, (pussy!).

That title sums things up. I don't hate adult animation. In fact, I like shows like Futurama, Rick And Morty, and American Dad. Unfortunately, the mindset of most adult cartoons these days is to throw in as much gore and raunch as possible because it's "grown up". That is not grown up. That's immature, and shows like Brickleberry show why. The idea behind these people working at a nature park has a lot of ideas for storytelling and jokes, but it's wasted on tasteless shock humor and bad morality. Every single episode is poorly written and panders to the lowest common dominator. The characters are either jerks, idiots, punching bags, bland, or even all of the above. I admit the animation is nice, but good visuals can't make up for bad humor and writing. With all that said, that's why I stick to kids shows. Shows like Gravity Falls have great writing and shows like Mickey Mouse (2013) have great comedy. If you like Brickleberry, that's fine. This is just my opinion.

When a cartoon purports to be dark and off the wall humor, for it to be good it must have certain aspects. Something like South Park does this very well because the jokes make sense, and all connect to what the main topic is about for each episode. South Park is able to adeptly blend offensiveness into it's humor to create it's trademark style, and sheds life onto many problems this world has, but in a clever way. What isn't clever, is slapping in random offensive jokes just to get a laugh, and that's what BrickleBerry is. There is nothing edgy about this show, it's just South Park's humor but dumbed down to even more child like levels. Like I said, I don't mind offensive humor, but there are times when one of the characters says something offensive, and the other characters just stand there staring at the speaker for like 10 seconds. This is supposed to be time for me to laugh, but I never cracked a smile throughout the whole thing. The animation is awful, it's like if Family Guy was made by a high school student. and that's really a pretty good analogy for the show as a whole. They throw in jokes they EXPECT you to laugh at, but they are just weird and uncomfortable. Blatant racism, sexism, and drawn-out awkward moments, this show is the worst.

Honestly, I mean it. I see sh*t like Sidekick getting worse and worse every passing day, and CatDog getting even worse every passing hour. I know this isn't going to last long or whatever, but either way it is WELCOME. It's characters are nice, and the jokes pretty much hit bulls-eyes. Not only that, but it doesn't try to be "too mean spirited" or "dumbed down for little kids" like I see every other damn Cartoon doing on the 2010s these days. It uses vulgar humor that actually seems fresh in a way, and gives you a classic feel of "2007 George of The Jungle" in a sense Not only that, but the animation is just great, not choppy or even non- expressive. The character designs are cute and appealing, the backgrounds are nicely detailed. It give me a good feeling and whatnot. Glad I'm finally seeing some effort, hope for even better cartoons in the future
