It isn't all that great, actually. Really cheesy and very predicable of how certain scenes are gonna turn play out. However, I guess that's the charm of it all, because I would consider this one of my guilty pleasures.

View Moreif their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.
View MoreLet me start by saying I have an amazing sense of humour. Now then, this was complete twaddle. Didn't laugh once. Characters were annoying. Story doesn't make sense. Please ignor all the positive reviews written by staff from the show and people being bribed. It's a shame really. Since I have an amazing sense of humour I'm qualified to judge what passes as comedy and this doesn't.
View MoreNice light hearted comedy - typical of what you'd expect from Mindy Kaling. I hope it continues
View MoreIt´s funny and uplifting. Even though most of the rewiews are bad i watched it in one sitting. I recommend it to smeone who needs get in a good mood.
View MoreI watched the first 6 episodes & it isn't getting better. The 15 year old son is a bad joke. I could go into the facts about the improbability of a small town gay teen acting like a hardened 45 year old female impersonator before he even gets to NY & not being the housekeeper/helper for his hard working single mom; or the NURSE mom NOT stressing the importance of a good education, cleanliness, etc. Instead, let's look at the fact that an absentee father, with no interest in children, would have sent him on to other housing because the boy is a monster! Scene & print!!! The show's concept is interesting but the script isn't good. There are some good lines/jokes but the kid just destroys the believability of the show; making it impossible to care enough to continue watching.
