It's funny watching the elements come together in this complicated scam. On one hand, the set-up isn't quite as complex as it seems, but there's an easy sense of fun in every exchange.
View MoreFanciful, disturbing, and wildly original, it announces the arrival of a fresh, bold voice in American cinema.
View MoreA movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.
View MoreI'm an avid watcher of crime series from anywhere in the world and always give an Australian show a good chance, but this show is terrible. It reminded me of Crawford's Homicide from the 50s - corny script, wooden acting esp Rachel Griffiths who looks ill at ease in such a mediocre show considering her acting credentials. Justine Clarke easily steals the show in her portrayal of a modern-day bimbo , so against her usual goody-two shoes parts.
View MoreThis is a head scratcher! The plot was reasonable, the cast was okay, the filming wasn't annoying. I was hoping to enjoy it but it fell short. I just can't quite put my finger on what was missing. Perhaps the direction and the lead character played by Rachel Griffiths........I just don't know! I'm normally not a fence sitter and can rattle off all the pros and cons with ease but urgh.......I just don't know why this show failed to impress. In a word "one dimensional " , or two!
View MoreI gave it ten minutes of the first episode before I lost my patience with this rubbish. Asinine high school script done by the numbers. The best bit was the young policeman's uniform. Straight from props and fitted like a potato sack! Ha ha. Australia, you deserve better
View MoreWhat more can I say other than it feels like. It tries too hard to tick all the SBS boxes. I'll give ep 2 ten minutes to make me watch more . It's a shame.
