As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.

It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.

Actress is magnificent and exudes a hypnotic screen presence in this affecting drama.

I am totally obsessed with this show. I feel like it was made for me. I love talking about random celebrities! But I can't really watch it with other people without having to answer the question "Who's that?" or "What does that mean?" every 30 seconds. Billy Eichner was my absolute favorite actor on Parks and Recreation (he played Craig) and I am totally in love with his street comedy show. Thank god Difficult People exists. The fact that it's successful makes me feel like maybe the rest of the world is starting to be as mean and weird as me! And I love that it's about people in their 30s and not their 20s. I can't stand shows about super successful people right out of college where everyone has their dream job and dream life and everything is perfect. This show is real life, for people who are as cynical as me. I love it.

It's like Seinfeld (25 years later) just without the wit, charisma, genius and charm.The show has the aura of a high school project with a 100 USD per episode budget.Saw one season and didn't laugh – or even smile – for one second. It's for the audience that's not intellectual enough to get Louis CK.For people who are interested in the neurotic/narcissistic humour genre I'd recommend You're The Worst, reruns of Seinfeld or Louie.This show doesn't bring anything new/good to the table. Can't believe that this was on HBO. Beware.

Like Rick and Morty, I knew I liked this show immediately. Some people have difficulty understanding what satire and hyperbole is, and have come here to leave bad reviews. If you like shows like The Thick of It, Venture Bros., Kroll Show, Comedy Bang Bang, etc. then this show should pique your interest. Any great show is a little ridiculous and exaggerates it's jokes for the overall humor. There's no accounting for taste, but I think that there is accounting for good humor. Over-the- top bombast doesn't make this show gross or bad, as some might have you believe. It makes this show exceptional in the landscape of modern sitcoms.I love Billy Eichner for his work on Billy on the Street, and he's only more streamlined on this. Julie Klausner is awesome, as well. I hope her show gets another season.

This will be a very simple easy review. The pilot was horrible. Not funny at all. I can NOT believe this came from the mind of Amy Poehler! The two leads, Julie Klausner and Billy Eichner are not funny, just loathsome, curmudgeons.SPOILER BELOWThere is a joke about Jay Z and Beyonce's daughter & R. Kelly that was so disgusting if I were them I'd sue Amy Poehler! How in the world someone came up with that and thought it was funny or even appropriate to have in a show is beyond me. It's someone's actual child and even if it wasn't about a "real" child, the joke is in poor taste. Using children in the context of the said joke is just vile. I won't be watching any further. The joke alone was enough but the program has the added problem of simply not being funny. I've removed it from my Hulu queue.You are no Tina Fey, Amy. I can honestly say I am very disappointed.
