    How sad is this?

This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.

I gave this film a 9 out of 10, because it was exactly what I expected it to be.

Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.

Love the show. Just wish they had done 5-7 more seasons and the a movie. When's the movie coming then??? We gotta see what happened to the town and people. I do hope they do a movie, would love that big time. I got all 5 seasons and would buy the movie as well if they made it. Hope you see a pattern here about making a movie. Hope the actors and actresses are doing great, just wishing that they will make a movie. Begging and pleading that there is a movie to be made. It's just a pity that each season was short. Loved the fact that the show was funny, but had some seriousness at same time. The only thing is they use the same main actors and actresses.

Eureka is a true Sci-Fi gem that has only gotten better with time. I was incredibly upset when they originally were going to finish the show after only four seasons but thankfully they changed their minds and finished the series with a fifth. It gave the viewers a sense of closure. You get very invested in the character development which is one of the shows big draw cards. They are well developed and perfectly casted. It would not have been such a success if you couldn't tune in each week to see what sort of hi-jinx the residents of Eureka had gotten up to.Aside from the characters the episodes are interesting. There is a main plot line throughout the series but each week usually focuses on a different crisis relating to a new technology. The ideas are innovative and revolutionary. It certainly doesn't ever feel stale. A definite must watch series.

A town that is cloaked from the world's view and by accident is entered by Sheriff Jack Carter and his daughter, Zoe, who at first is a trouble maker than finds out she is actually very smart. She is smart enough to make it to Harvard. Interesting characters, Henry, Fargo, Joe, Zane and many others that are to smart for their own good which leads Jack to save the day every time except once when the town was knocked out by one of their own, leaving Joe and Zoe to save the day. Very fine show and the entire series can be seen on Netflix. Check out the show, had three good Christmas episodes including the one where everyone gets animated.

Eureka is an excellent quality science fiction show and one of the few with real values in today's media society. The cancellation of Eureka is truly a sad day for the entertainment industry. Years ago we strove for quality, family acceptable, and educational programming. Now we go on and watch whatever is put in front of us. Eureka was one of those rare jewels it was put in front of us and it held what so many of the programming on television anymore lacks; heart, passion, education, and most importantly the thing we need more now than ever imagination and something to make us wonder 'what if'. Shows like Eureka make us ask questions and strive to stretch the possible, plausible, and even the impossible. I hope Eureka can come back one day when once again we are ready to stretch our imaginations and maybe even our wallets to help make sure quality programming stairs on the air.
