I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.

Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.

The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.

Debi does not know how to pronounce the word spaghetti, she calls it "spageet-ty". This irritates me.

I watch this show religiously and I have learned a tremendous amount about cooking from Debi and Gabriele. In general Gabriele's recipes and meal combinations are excellent.I just finished watching the Supper at James Beard House episode. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out why for such a sumptuous seafood meal, Gabriele allowed RED Chianti to be paired and served as apposed to a Chablis or a Pinot Noir.Is there something or someone that explains what would make the Chianti acceptable? Curious!
