what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.

This is an unbelievable show.The way the story develops I thought was excellent and Ramon, who plays Lopez, is an incredible character and actor, especially in episode 7 of season 1.I've seen a few bad reviews and I think (not just with this show) people concentrate on the specifics and let it ruin it for them. Like how gamers say unrealistic games ruins them. Shut up and just enjoy it for what it is.This show has action, drama, a bit of comedy every now and then. It has secrets and lies and when there are scenes involving the secrets/lies like when Jessica finds Ryan's bag towards the end of season 1 with pictures of him and Javier it keeps me hooked on what may happen next.Since it seems good shows get cancelled I'm not expecting a season 2 but I really hope there will be, especially with how season 1 ended.Truly incredible show, I wasn't actually going to watch this as I'm not into the whole gang thing too much, but I saw some of the actors in it such as, Sung Kang, Terry O'Quinn and I'm not sure what his real name is but Sucre from Prison Break and gave it a chance and man I am so glad I did.

I just spent my entire day watching this and could not stop thinking START TO FINISH how undeniably epic it really is. I really really loved the series SHIELD and I rate this AS good after Gang Related's first season. Before I watched the season I read that Fox had cancelled a season two and I was thinking there must be a reason... But there isn't. Watch it and you will see this is a series that needs a second series after being as good as it was in the first season.I must admit at the beginning I wasn't SO sure about this because RZA was in it, but you don't even realise it as you proceed through the series.There are literally so many moments when I literally clapped and shouted 'SO BOSS' or 'BOSS MODE OHHHHHH S***' which are similar reactions I only have in movies like Scarface or series' like Breaking Bad... (Spoiler : There is a scene where Javier Acosta just takes out the boss of the Metas and 2 of his men and I was just thinking Jesus Christ this is insane, Fox are truly massive massive idiots)I extremely recommend watching this although you may become upset as Fox cancelled a second season, which they are very very very stupid for doing.. I would literally pay to see a second season of this they simply cannot leave it where it is.Rating on IMDb - 10/10 Rating I think it deserves - At least an 8.8 - 9.0

With the slew of terrible reality shows or unwatchable dramas, Gang Related is a breath of fresh air (especially on Fox). I know some people say something like this is impossible to believe or it's impractical. So what? It's entertaining and it's good. So many shows are cancelled before the have a possibility to show their true potential and for it being this early on it's unbelievably interesting. Also, has no one ever seen Donnie Brasco? It's just a reverse situation instead of cop infiltrating mob ,it's mob infiltrating police. Fighting to do good while protecting his own. The show has an amazing cast of actors and it shows in GR. I think the only mistake we could make with this show is letting it slip away without seeing it through. Is Ryan a pawn to the ones he loves or is he really family. Someone who is willing to do anything for the people closest to him despite being on the edge of what's right and what's wrong ,and where he stands as an officer and a family member. Is there more corruption than meets the eye? Will the mistakes of some cost lives of others,or jealousy? It's nice to get a show like this that feels like a movie every time I watch it. If your a fan of shows like Sopranos, Sons of Anarchy, or movies like Blood In Blood Out this is for you.

The show in one word (promising), it has a little bit of (The Departed) and (The Shield). Also there are angles to the story other than the main one which is double agent for mob and the police. The action does not take over the drama and that is very good from famous action writer. The acting is good from the police squad and the gang especially the paralyze character. Finally the reason for why I watch this show is because of its story that reminds me of martin Scorsese magnificent piece of art The Departed, and the hot beautiful actress Shantel VanSanten just look at the poster and you will know what I mean.
