Good concept, poorly executed.
The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
View MoreAmazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
View MoreThe film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
View MoreEven though it was cancelled after a few episodes, this was a cute little show. Nothing earth shattering, but cute. The show takes place in a recording studio. Where a man, Craig, who records music with odd people(Hank "Simpson's" Azaria) meets a girl, Jessie, who finds people to record weird books on tape(Elizabeth McGovern). They meet, instantly fall in love, try to stay away from one another, yet always end up together. Why is that so bad?? Because each of them have someone already. Craig is seeing this tall "blonde" named Melanie(played by Jane Sibbett of Friends) who is very sweet, giving, and very accident prone. Jessie is dating this tall "blonde" named Elliot(played by Cybill's Peter Krauss) who is very handsome, cocky, and very insecure. No matter how hard Craig and Jessie tries to break up with them, something always seems to happen to stop them. The elements all seem to work, but the question is how long could that situation have been cute before it got irritating. I don't think for long. Who knows what the writers had up their sleeve, or not. Maybe CBS did us all a favor. I do still enjoy watching my taped episodes though.
