    Excellent but underrated film

Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast

The film may be flawed, but its message is not.

Ricky Gervais seems to do well by bringing UK and USA television broadcasters together to back his latest comedy project and make it work.Krod Mandoon follows a similar path, it even has a rising American comedy actor, Kevin Hart in an otherwise mainly British cast but his mix of Mel Brooks, meets Monty Python does not really take off.The series is sword and fantasy comedy as reluctant hero Krod Mandoon (Sean Maguire) a freedom fighter lacking in prowess and confidence takes on the the evil ruler, Chancellor Dongalor (Matt Lucas) with his band of inept freedom fighters. The highlight is the sultry India de Beaufort who uses sex as a weapon.Somehow the series is not that funny or clever, the slapstick is not that inspiring or surreal. If you looking for something in the vein of The Princess bride this is not it.

Krod Mandoon started out as an interesting premise, mainly a fantasy sword and sorcery sitcom. However it just becomes a platform for more anti-male/pro-female bullcrap that is considered "humor" in our society. In between scenes of fantasy style questing, scenes of medieval castles/towns and characters like warriors and wizards, are the messages that "women are awesome and sexy" and "men are idiots and buffoons" while pointing out that female sexuality is awesome and sexy and male sexuality is disgusting and ugly.I would have rated the show higher, but could not stand the misandric garbage. I had enough by the 4th episode.Next!

I was pleasantly surprised when I watched the show. It's just genuinely good! The acting is superb. The writing is fluent, very funny and the story line is good as well although heavily focused on being funny rather then focusing on the plot. The show looks pretty expensive, the set looks very authentic and rich.I think that if the show where to be improved to perfection then it should be made 40 minutes long and put a bit more focus onto the storyline. Other than that it's perfect. A must see for anyone who likes shows like Futurama, South Park, 30 rock etc.

One of the only shows I actually don't want to miss. As for the IQ comment's I have a IQ over 130 and my Father has one over 140 and we both love this show. It has witty innuendos, smart humor and references. I especially love how they make fun of them selves and the genre it's self.Like the underpowered wizard who constantly tries to prove his abilities by lying or how Krod is a freedom fighter yet he has a slave to name a few.I just love every thing about this show. So bring me a tub of goose fat and a clean sock because I'm sticking to the tube with flaming sword in hand for this one.
