Intense, gripping, stylish and poignant
The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.
View MoreIn truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
View MoreOne of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.
View MoreA horrendous remake of "The Office", it is.Instead of the witty humor of the original, we've got vulgarity and rudeness. Instead of the lovable, well-developed characters of the US version, we've got a anonymous support cast that are left to themselves. The actors are not (so) bad, being up-and-coming talent out of the improvisation circle, but they are clearly ill-directed, if not let to themselves; They ham it up without control. The timing is completely out; there is no rhythm at all. The tone is confused, as if the show was improvised. The focus is put in all the baddest places. The set is drab. The attempts at comedy falls flat; I didn't even smiled, and after a typical viewing (lord knows I tried), I felt the urge to hide away due to pathetism. Please forget this turnip that was, of course, cancelled after a single season.
