Why so much hype?

Excellent but underrated film

A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.

Easily the biggest piece of Right wing non sense propaganda I ever saw.

Science done by 5 year old for people who zero knowledge of anything scientific.poor writing, poor character development, poor resolution, horrible camera angles, oxy moronic at times. Annoying characters and actors....ZERO POINT ZERO

I am a fan of SciFi and have a hard time finding new material to watch and it was pretty hard to find this one.I watched this series in 2012, few years after it was completed and I still found the bio-tech and other science content incredible and impressive for a fictional story. I don't believe that I have ever seen any fictional series or a movie with this amount of scientific content. Not that all the scenarios are plausible in reality but highly entertaining what-ifs in there. Kudos to whoever has wrote the scripts and I have been wondering if there a real scientist that wrote this.There are multiple ongoing stories in each episode and one typically concludes while the larger theme continues.The character development is excellent and the series is not shy to present main characters that mismanage ethical dilemma associated with their professions.I have to say that I liked the editing of episodes too, there is rewinding trick that is used to show two simultaneous events that is quite interesting.I miss this show.

I'm generally very hard on TV shows. It's so rare that I really get the desire to follow one through...I'm a fan of movies, and I don't have time to lose on something that actually doesn't end soon :) But, ReGenesis got me! I'm not sure I can fully explain why... Yes, I am science freak. I practically understand everything they're talking about without explanations. However, when I look at it, CSI is for science freaks too, but I could never really fall into it. OK, it's different type of science, but CSI always seemed to me too exaggerated, too artificial.There's something about ReGenesis... It's dark and mystical, and yet, it brings such fresh and amazing ideas! Combining science of today, and science of future, in such a subtle way. Everything is so well grounded. I must give respect to the science consultant. There are no errors or holes, everything is so logical and so possible. And so real-life dark.Actors and characters are all great, but my true fascination goes to director. Really fresh approach on light, on time dimension, on camera movements. Excellent job!All considering... this kept me glued to my chair, I warmly recommend it! :)

ReGenesis is one of my favorite shows I been very fortunate to watch and you got some great talented actors that are involved with the production. Talented people like Maxim Roy who plays Caroline Morrison who is the director of NORBAC and very gorgeous woman to boot plays her part very well. Dimtry Chepovetsky playing the brainy Bob Melnikov who certainly knows his science to a T. These are the only two characters I enjoyed seeing on ReGenesis that really flows well with the show. It's now about to be seen on Global which they'll be showing all the first season shows. This is a must show everyone should look at. Can't wait for the second season on Movie Central.
