Good story, Not enough for a whole film

It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

So many good reviews on here, hard to believe they are genuine. I honestly wanted to like this show just based on the premise - an estranged couple, a missing daughter, a hint of human trafficking - what's not to like. Turns out it's all been done before and much, much better than this drivel. Save Me is sadly lacking in suspense or intrigue and primarily consists of the father hanging about in his local pub. Hugely disappointing!

Excellent! Terrific acting! Why can't the BBC produce shows are good as Save Me?

As always this was a superb script devised by Lennie James and such wonderful acting from Suranne Jones. Save me highlighted the realities of what some families tragically experience, with some subtle yet dramatic twists and turns. This was a truly edge of your seats show, which played on a range of emotions by a variety of viewers. The fragility of certain characters such as Stephen Graham's character, pulls on a range of issues and intertwines them in the main plot. It's no secret that Lennie James has confirmed he will be writing a series 2. There are some lose ends which have left audiences/viewers guessing or interpreting at the end of episode 6, but for more details you'll need to watch and find out... can't wait to find out where he will go from here. Truly excellent!
