    Very Cool!!!

A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.

This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

Most are complaining about how bad this show is. It's BECAUSE it's bad that it's great. It's fun and entertaining. It's a cute throwback to cheesy slasher films. If you love Scream, you'll like season one. Haven't seen season two yet, but the premise looks like it will toy with Friday the 13th elements. I'm definitely looking forward to it.

So I was a little skeptical. I actually really enjoyed the first season of slasher when I watched it in 2016. I never actually realised this season was out until I came back to this recently, but season2 is really a master piece but I still feel season 1 should be looked at as well, is it as good no, no where near as good but it is clear in season 1 that they could have the writing that would allow them to take themselves to that of season 2. Season 1: rank 6/10Right so season 1 (from memory) tries hard to show that it wants to be a decent horror flick. And to some extent it was successful. The character deaths are not predictable and the show is definitely entertaining. As I am from the UK I guess I didn't mind Kate McGraph's acting, even more being biased that she was one of the best things about Merlin which I first watched over 10 years ago now. I feel she does have an issue with not being able to pull off the American Accent and knowing the Irish accent and the fact of which it is so thick I can see why people especially Americans/Canadians had issues. But her acting isn't as bad as people say it is and she does well to somewhat lead the show. Overall it is clear that this is more of a work in progress, there are some really good elements, acting varies from solid to ok and in general makes for an entertaining little story. I think people had to realise this I don't remember at the time but pretty sure the production team well their channel was fairly new in the first place. It's not fair to fully judge it with another network which is much more established and has more money to pummel into the makings of a good show. Not going to bring any spoilers, but I feel the strengh of this season is some of the actors and the death scenes. Very well done. Season 1 is also nicer to sit through as it isn't as graphic or intense as the second. Especially since some minor characters are killed as part of the I guess I will call a ritual.Season 2Now I was pretty skeptical at the other reviews when it came to this. A lot of people saying that they shouldn't even waste their time with season 1. And now upon watching it I can honestly say it's probably the best horror tv show season anthology I've seen in my whole life. For me I have always been a horror fan but do feel that Horror films especially ones about serial killers (not based on true stories) which are supposed to be realistic don't succeed due to a limited time to tell the story with major elements missed. This season however does absolutely everything right. Literally had me on the edge of my seat the entire time and also prevented me from turning my tv off. The deaths in particularly are really well done, I actually liked seeing how far people could be tortured, a certain few characters clearly wanted to fight and survive to the very end and actually I felt this was pretty realistic, the body tries to hold on and coming out from a near death experience where I was drugged recently I can honestly say this was exactly how I was although in my mind I guess lol. What was also really good as well was how good the flashbacks were and how amazing a lot of the characters were. In season 2 they literally have layors upon layors of depth put into them which actually ends up making all the characters in the end likable. In the first episode I thought all of them were dispicable and I couldn't wait for them to die. Later on multiple characters through flashbacks and general changes to their characters left me in love with them. I also liked the risk taking in this, Season1 didn't have enough character pool or at least they were all spread around and not interacting much with each other. Whereas in season 2 they are constantly interacting making most situations and dialogs seriously believable and on top of that was delivered amazingly by the cast. And therefore the deaths of the characters is kinda like Game of Thrones literally no one is safe, I had my favourite characters killed within minutes and this was not always 100% the case and so had me second guessing until they were evently left for dead. I want to give a shout out to the actor who plays Noah. He in particular was absolutely amazing. And he was hot giving him a massive bonus. The one thing I would say is that the killer was kinda obvious too an extent I kinda guessed who they were quite early on and actually an issue in season 1 as well by episode maybe 5 onwards since so many people have died it kinda makes it easy to guess at this stage.. I think in the future it might be good to not have so many people die in such quick succession as it makes it easier to sus out who the killer is. Although it was still not entirely predictable still had a great twist also the motive was decent. I also tnink in season 2 it made sense that the killer was kinda predictable by the end because the motive and explanation ended up being the actual twist.I am looking forward to what they give for season 3 becuase if it is anything like season 1 then this needs to get a billion awards.Oh on a ps side note I like that is is set in Canada so there is limited gun use (like where I am in the UK) and also is very liberal. Loved the diversity of the cast, next season just needs a gay maority cast :POverall: I mean this was more a rant then review but I suggest watching both seasons but if you can't get through the first season then defintiely don't pass up season 2 which is literally a masterpiece

Really great series. I personally think that the first season was amazing, I have the seven deadly sins included in my religion so watching this was really interesting for me. I loved the plot and the twists and turns and how they modernized the punishments while actually getting them right. It was just..wow. Anyways, I would've given it a better rating but the characters. Now, to get this straight, I have nothing against the acting in general. I don't think it sucked. But some characters really ticked me off. I guess that's what they're supposed to do, but come on. I would love to name off everyone that made mad but the one person who really caused my rating to drop was Sarah. She was the most annoying human being on the face of the planet throughout my time watching and she acted so idiotic sometimes and she was so cocky for no reason and she acted so privileged and as though everyone owed her something. Otherwise, I had no problems with her. The way she acted to some of the events just wasn't anywhere near realistic too (it's fictional so that's not too bad, just annoying in certain cases). But that's not the actors' faults, to be honest, it's the script writer's and director's for making the characters act that way. Either way, ignore my rant above and watch the show. Everyone has different opinions and I honestly did love it. The acting isn't bad, I feel as though it's just the attitudes that the characters' have that get to people but I don't know for sure when it comes to others. I highly recommend this for any slasher film lovers, it will keep you watching until the end.

You have to wonder which Netflix producer this girl is related to to have gotten the leading role on this otherwise great show. She is VERY OBVIOUSLY British or something and she does a terribly unconvincing American accent throughout the show. I didn't even realize she wasn't supposed to be from Europe until her Grandma showed up. Aside from that, her acting is miserable. She is bland and boring with a monotone voice. She constantly looks like she's smiling or smirking even after the bad things happen and she's supposed to be crying/emotional. I'm extremely shocked she was cast as the main character. I would have given it a 1 just because of that if not for the fact that the show has a lot of things going for it and it was a really good story. It's not entirely unique in the horror genre but adds some really interesting new elements that almost make up for the horrible acting. Don't want to give any spoilers because I still think it's worth watching.
