This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.
View MoreI think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
View MoreExcellent characters with emotional depth. My wife, daughter and granddaughter all enjoyed it...and me, too! Very good movie! You won't be disappointed.
View MoreThere's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.
View MoreThus show started great but went off track like all others do. Icabod wasn't Icabod long he became to modern to fast and the show like charmed, in my opinion went way off track I lost interest quickly.
View MoreI loved this show, but I have 1 major complaint regarding the episode called "What Lies Beneath". (Season 2 Episode 16)!! Spoiler Alert!! When they discovered Thomas Jefferson's underground library/dome with his "Spiritual Hologram", they decide they have to blow everything up to save the 2 surveyers. My question is, WHY?They managed to save the surveyers without damaging the magical battery, but they still decided to blow it up.. They had already been down there 2 times and survived, killing roughly 15 Reavers.. And he goes down again to blow everything up, even though he is safe inside Jefferson's Dome. Later Ichabod says "if only I could have taken with me some of the books"... I shouted out when they blew it up, I cursed and I got very upset.. It was so sincerely pointless.. Imagine all the knowledge they could have learned, all the spells and other benefits to save the world. I think in this specific case, 1000 books is more worth than 1 life. But it didn't even have to come to that.Possible outcomes that would have worked:1) Ichabod could easily have taken with him the chest containing the important scrolls regarding the witnesses, or at least some important books on his way out and still exploded the dome like they said.2) They could have avoided exploding the dome. Seeing as they being only 2 managed to get into the dome and survive, and even Ichabod alone managed this, they could have come back later and saved everything in the library. 3) They could have brought reinforcements, got help from 2-3 friends, and had even more protection whilst getting the books. This is just poor directing if you ask me, it almost seems like the episodes original idea was longer, but they had to shorten it down in a hurry.Imagine the treasures in that library. This is the worst episode of the entire series in my honest opinion.
View MoreI feel sad that people have rated less for this show.I know the history is changed, that's how it is with every series, Come on I'm sure no one believes that Vamps and Werewolves exist right. But if you check on Google, it says how to become one and change and all- I''m talking WIKI :-D :-DThe story is great and the presentation too...I like the way the British guy explains the history with Mr. Washington and the show keeps to intact.Honestly, that;s the thing which matters. I have watched both the seasons and have not found much faults in it.I just love the show for the way it is, couldn't have been better.Good going.... Thumbs Up. Thanks.
View MoreAn enthralling tale somewhere between Charmed, Angel and The Vampire Diaries...with some history mixed in it. Icabod Crane wakes up in the 21 century and is shocked to find the Headless Horseman still roaming the streets. A much bigger mystery unravels while the dangers in Sleepy Hollow are at their highest. An unimaginable evil, much greater than the Headless Horseman will force Icabod and company to fight until they exhaust their every resource. If you love stories about demons and mystical creatures packed with a lot of action, drama, adventure and just a dash of horror, this is definitely your show. You also wouldn't miss on the classic well- manneredness of the gentlemen from the 1700s.
