Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

The plots are convoluted tangled and contrived and at no point what anyone is doing makes any sense at all. It's like the stoned Keystone Kops. The police are idiots and way behind the amateur sleuths, who are friends but never tell the police anything. The cop, however, leaks everything to his pals who do not return the favor. The many many plots are so mangled that you get to the point where you don't even care how it ends anymore, but you pray that it will, soon. The relationships are like no relationships anyone has ever had. Not one of the characters is believable. I will never watch anything written by this person ever again. Feh.

For those who are apparently confused forensic DNA testing succeeded DNA paternity testing for example in cases of UK immigration confirmation. Once again there are those usual suspects whose intellectual capacity has been displaced by excessive hubris. The series is gripping and well made being structured perfectly in terms of plot, character and pace. The experts in Hollywood can learn something here.

Great gripping series. Great suspenseful story with amazing twists. Couldn't stop watching. Love British tv. I really recommend it!!

Very exciting and eerie at the same time. Great acting by all of the characters. The storyline had lots of twists and turns, but sometimes the subplots became overwhelming. Overall, "The Five" is an astonishing series that keeps you on the edge.
