Most undeservingly overhyped movie of all time??

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

LOVED this show! I applaud Sundance for bringing it to us but detest how they screwed it and us over by handling this gem so poorly. Ever heard of supporting and advertising a quality show?! They had the guts to try the series but not enough balls to support it!!Extremely disappointed that because of Sundance there aren't more episodes! The Red Road had superb acting, great story- so much going for it. Some of Jason Momoa's best work to date!! He brought layers of depth to Phillip Kopus that made the audience root for him even when he was doing bad things! Within The Red Road was the whole gray area between good and bad and what motivates people and the mental and emotional anguish...Great work by the principals and supporting characters. It had action but was about people and relationships, actions and consequences and the ugly way people can treat one another. It was intriguing and captivating. You've got an incredible cast including Martin Henderson,Julianne Nicholson,Tamara Tunie,Mike Farrell and Tom Sizemore bringing compelling characters to life. I recommend this show to people all the time!

New to Netflix and MY GOD I just found this series on Netflix! Watched both seasons in 2 days and find there's no more episodes? PLEASE TELL ME THIS ISN'T TRUE! Love watching Jason. Story line is good. Actors are perfect. PLEASE SEND US MORE. Will there be more and when? What a cliff hanger in season 2! Seriously need more of The Red Road.

The story line is good, and there is enough action here and there to keep the show interesting. I'll keep watching.The biggest let down is blacks in key rolls, playing natives. It just doesn't work, very unbelievable, especially heard in pronouncing words. They do not look like, or sound like natives on reserves. There are just so many talented native actors that I don't understand why blacks were brought in to play lead rolls as natives. For me this has taken away from authenticity, and realism from the series.Other than the above noted weakness, the show is very enjoyable to watch, and I look forward to seeing how the writers go forward with development.

I watched the first season wishing it had been longer. That was not because it needed more episodes to enhance the story but because I really enjoyed it. Season 2 is here at last and it carries on as before. Compelling to watch. Some comments prove that lots of viewers have forgotten that a good story can be told at a pace that doesn't take your breath away but keeps you on a constant level of anticipation for the whole show. I am always surprised that it's over. The sometimes lack of dialog is synonymous with how people really are and it lets the viewers do some thinking of their own, very unusual in todays TV. The twists give me hope that it may run into at least season 3, here's hoping.
