Don't listen to the Hype. It's awful

It's entirely possible that sending the audience out feeling lousy was intentional

It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

Yvette Wilson, Countess Vaugh, and Brandy have all appeared on Thea, Moesha, and The Parkers together. Although you may argue that Countess was not on Thea , she did do a guess appearance on itand the same for Brandy who did several guest spots on the Parkers. Who is to say that they may have appeared in other TV or Movie spots together. My favorite guess appearance would have to be that of Brandy on The Parkers. Where she played 'Herself' or shall we say one of herself as Cinderella in the Kimberly Halloween Party episode. While of course Countess played 'herself' sort-of as 'Kim' (the rapper that is). If you guys know of other TV or Movie spots these ladies appeared together in please post it for further review.

If it wasn't for "Thea," there would be no famous celebrity called "Brandy!" This show was so short lived. I believe this show would have lasted longer if they had someone else besides Thea Vidale to play in it! She is not a good actress. But the other boys who played in this show had great roles since this show. And it seems like Yvette Wilson always play in the same type of sitcoms!

This has been one of the best sitcoms ever to be shown on television, starring a likable and highly-talented all-black cast. Thea Vidale, an underrated comedienne, heads the sitcom as in-your-face mama Thea Turrell, a widow who is struggling to raise her four kids with the help of her sister and brother-in-law. With her trademark one-liner of "See ya'!", Thea is charming, witty, and wonderful all at the same time! The show also features a young Brandy Norwood (aka Brandy) who later went on to top the pop charts as a vocalist and the sitcom star of "Moesha"; and a young Jason Weaver who lent his voice along with Jonathan Taylor Thomas as Young Simba in "The Lion King" and also co-starred in Steve Harvey's sitcom "Me and the Boys." Little did Norwood and "Thea" alum Yvette Wilson know that two seasons after the sitcom's cancellation, they'd be co-starring together in "Moesha." ABC cancelled "Thea" way too quickly, giving it only six months on the air and forcing "Thea" to lead-off an iffy Wednesday night lineup directly slotted opposite "The Nanny." This is truly one that got away!
