Wow! What a bizarre film! Unfortunately the few funny moments there were were quite overshadowed by it's completely weird and random vibe throughout.

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.

Unfortunately for all of us, in this film that is inspired by the true events of the 1976 hijacking of an Air France flight en route from Tel Aviv to Paris, there is no Israeli commandos to rescue us.Despite action movie director José Padilha (Elite Squad) at the helm in "7 Days in Entebbe" there is simply no life to be found. Basically, it lacks any real connection to the people partaking on either side. Surprisingly, the most involving dramatic strand is not with the imperiled innocent families and their gun-toting captors, but inside the chambers of government in Israel. Neither a rousing military showcase nor a barbed commentary on the Middle East, fim is just unsatisfying and forgettable. 5/10.

I thought the actors were superb, and the cinematography was excellent. Having seen the other three movies on the subject, this was the really the best. I can see how the Netanyhu family did not want it made, as it destroys the myth of Yoni Netanyhu, the hero (the basis of younger brother Bibi's political career).

Lousy film, humanizes terrorist, Jose Padila has absolutely 0 talent. How do you take one of the most exciting events of the 20th century and turn it into a snooze fest is Senior Padilha's little secret that I do not care to know. Tension level is low, characters as flat a a rug and nothing i mean nothing to fall in love with.

The story of the hijacking and subsequent rescue mission was good enough on it's own. The character of Sarah and Batsheva Dance Company's performance distracted from the plot. Even the few IDF members, including Sarah's boyfriend, felt thrown in. The inter-cutting of the rescue and dance sequences were dizzying and distracting. This film is a great example of why less is more.
