SERIOUSLY. This is what the crap Hollywood still puts out?

Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.

It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.

"Super Troopers" made me laugh a lot. I had to force myself just to get halfway through this snoozer before giving up. Maybe it's funny if you get -- or, better, are -- drunk; as a non-drinker, I just didn't find much of this material amusing. I will say that, for a comedy, it was done reasonably well, so there's that. Maybe ST2 will be better.

Now me and my boyfriend both love dumb funny movies.. this movie however was so dumb it was actually painful... I turned it off halfway through and still wish I could have that hour of my life back It does not deserve the effort it takes you write a 10 line review but I am doing it in hopes to save others from making the same MISTAKE we did.. I am sure glad I got it in the thrift store bin and it only cost me $3.99 (and an hour of my life)... it will be going back to the thrift store... I should just put it in the garbage because truly thats where it belongs. The only people who would find this funny... are people who smoked waaaaaaaaayyyyyyy to much pot... and it would have to be pretty good pot at that..

I don't want to be another person who tries to criticize other people's opinions but seriously if one of your example's of why this was a bad movie is 'the German wasn't correct' or 'there accents weren't believable' then you have absolutely no idea what kind of movie this is. They weren't supposed to be accurate, they were supposed to be exaggerated takes on the stereotyped idea of what German's sound/act like...D'uh, just like all the other countries they portrayed in the show. I know I am being aggressive but it is annoying to see people complain about the accents (and then coming to the conclusion only ignorant people like this movie because they don't know any better)when they don't even grasp that it might have been on purpose.It is obviously meant for the younger generation because a lot of this stuff does actually happen when I go out clubbing or to a party. This is exactly the kind of movie that you watch while drinking with mates on the weekend (it is a whole lot better than a movie like avatar from that perspective) and yet it does have some underlying sophistication. I like the deep, thought provoking movies as much as the next intelligent person but YOU ARE ignorant if you can't see why this movie can be funny to a large number of people without automatically meaning they are 'lowbrow'.I think a lot of you need to get off your high horse. Just because you don't understand this kind of humour does not mean it isn't funny. Like the beer goggles scene, that was classic because I know the experience. Just like most guys my age could probably sympathize with.

this movie was made for guys, mainly teen boys.i enjoy goofy movies, and although beerfest was goofy, i found it rather boring.the accents were awful and the acting left much to be desired.cloris leachman as the grandmother 'whore' did good job. the funniest scenes in movie were with leachman and monique slamming a guys nuts, lol from the parkers TV show.the trick quarters games were funny with the guys. the 2 brothers were boring, but the brainiak and Indian dude were funny.beerest is worth a watch, but if you have a choice of comedies you might want to pick another.
