This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

This movie is great and easily the best Cars movie. It has great writing, amazing animation, and memorable characters. What's to hate about it? Along with the first one it's one of my favorite animated movies of all time.

Now a car of a certain age, Lightning finds himself falling behind as the next generation of high tech race cars take the field. Confronted with his inevitable decline, he reports to his new owner and a state-of-the-art training facility where he meets his new trainer, Cruz. Annoying and chirpy, Cruz tries to help an old car regain his glory, but she doesn't know what it means to be a racer. Soon enough, Lightning is doing what he does best and strikes out on his own path. But if he can't win the next race, his racing days are over. But there's more to Cruz than Lightning knows. And, as it turns out, there is more to him, as well. Together, they will help each other find exactly what they need to face an uncertain future. If you are still young at heart and willing to let Pixar tug at your heartstrings, this is a very endearing story with a noble theme that victory is more than just winning. I honestly teared up at this one and found it to be as compelling as the first in the Cars series, perhaps even more so.Well written with a lot of heart, this is what old school Pixar is all about. And - there is a nifty inside joke for those who are into 3-D modelling. Lightning gets a repaint and it turns out that his old dialectric textures are enhanced with snazzy new PBR and metalness.

Much better than the second film. Here the feelings from the first movie comes back because it follows up with the first movie. This should have been the second film instead. You get to know about Doc more that you didn't know in the firs movie. Howewer it is a bit similar to the first movie when they are doing the races. But otherwise it is a great movie and a worthy sequel to the first one.

This film is a nice ending to the franchise and also introduces a few new characters! Lightning McQueen now takes the role of Doc Hundson by deciding to mentor a new racer Cruz, however he does not realise he has taken this role until his final race! The film begins with a montage showing Lightning racing, eventually leading to him losing to "New gen" racers. This in turn leads to him seeking further training which is where he meets his "so called" mentor Cruz. Cruz is later revealed to want to be a racer herself which is when McQueen decides to let her take his place.Although I don't like this franchise as much as some other Pixar movies, I do thoroughly enjoy it and do not understand the hate towards the movies! I expecially love how this film ends with McQueen taking the role of his idol by guiding a new racer into the future. I highly reccomend this movie, and you will understand it without seeing the others since it explains things pretty well!
