Excellent, Without a doubt!!

A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."

Like the great film, it's made with a great deal of visible affection both in front of and behind the camera.

Don't mess with this Bi**H!!! Didn't expect to much out of this. Catwoman isn't the first that comes to my mind when i think of characters to have the lead role in an animated movie. So I was surprised at how much i emjoyed this movie! She is way ruthless than I expected, espcially considering she is cast more in a hero's light rather than a viillian,I was surprised at the rating being as low as it is. i wish they would do more movies and shoes w her as the central character,

I saw this the following day after Batman Year one and it is definitely better but....Warning ahead: There is a scene where Roughcut and is punks go into a dodgy club and a hooker removes her bra. In other words, this is probably one which you can't show children.

And that is not only the case for bad guys who try to fight that very fast heroine. This also really is the case as well for filmmakers. Everybody knows about that unsuccessful Halle Berry movie and opinions differ about Anne Hathaway's turn, but here in this short film I was not really impressed either. However, that probably had more to do with the unsatisfying story than with the character itself. It's just never edge-of-seat stuff. Eliza Dushku did the voice acting here and I quite like her as an actress. She did okay all in all with her voice in here I would say. The director is Lauren Montgomery, actually a very experienced filmmaker in terms of animated superhero work, so I am even more disappointing that this one here left me hoping for more. Same can be said about the writer, which is maybe the even bigger problem that Paul Dini did not really come up with a super-engaging story or villain. Anyway, all in all I cannot recommend this 15-minute short film from almost 5 years ago. I also watched the Jonax Hex DC Showcase and I thought that one was a lot better. Another problem I had here is Catwoman randomly stealing a motorbike from some punk. I know she is not clean-cut good (or evil) like Batman or Superman and she has more shades to her character, but still I found that somewhat annoying. Yeah, not recommended.

7.5/10--Worth watching if you want 12 minutes of mildly adult entertainment, or you're already getting "Batman: Year One".DC Showcase: Catwoman is a nice, short animation. However, there-in lies the drawback: it's short. As in, shorter than an episode of an animated series. Written by Paul Dini, best known for his contribution to the DCAU, this animation, and it's story, is equivalent to a stand-alone, 20 page comic book issue. It tries to put in as much action as possible within 10 minutes. I believe the main attraction however is sex. Catwoman is sexy, but they really emphasized this here. The animation itself is not as excellent as one would expect. Being only 10 minutes long, one would have to wonder why they didn't invest in superb animation. Thus, the animation falls in between a regular animated series episode and an exceptional anime.
