Deadly Scavengers has re-appeared in a new digitally re-mastered version. with all new special effects and gore provided by Dark Dimensions Entertainment. a new cutting edge, electronic sound track by the incredible D.J. KAT fuels the flick and gives it a new up-beat, go-go feel. the old foam roach suit is gone, and in it's place a giant 6' hissing cockroach! the new version of "Scavengers" is entertaining and funny. if you like giant roaches and plot twists, you will love Deadly Scavengers!

I don't know what Ron Ford was thinking when he commited this sorry piece of S.O.V. crap. But if he had the intention of creating "the worst movie ever made", Deadly Scavengers is uncapable of being even THAT! The plot is a direct rip-off of "Food of the Gods" combined with some nonsense about mercenaries carrying toy guns. Instead of giant animals, we have only one big cockroach achieved by a) a real cucaracha filmed up close and badly composed with a lame chroma-key effect, and b) a guy in a suit so shabby that's only shown on the DVD cover! Everything that can be done wrong IS done wrong: acting, lighting, sound, dubbing, editing, SFX and all the like. How bad is it? Well, there's a scene where, to simulate a car in movement, the director points the camera at the windshield and shakes it up and down! But one thing must be clear: this is NOT the worst film ever made, and I'm 100% sure that the worst film ever made is ten times more amusing than this complete and utter garbage.

I love this dvd, perhaps for too many personal reasons.Acting was straight as an ARROW.Effects are gorier than one remembers from VHS incarnations as screeners.Look at it this way...Lou still gets credit,Eric still gets credit,Mike(ahem) still gets his.Fallon is a good actor and "Alien Conspiracy:Time Enough" will prove he is not a fluke. Mark Shady has gone on to " Crawling Brain" notoriety. If one was to comment in ahelpfull way,SHOULD have left the ending as is-The rest You may have improved on original...But,cardboard roaches exploding in half,ewww.
