I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.

The Deuce is wild in the long-awaited second installment of Rob Schneider's Gigolo trilogy! Hot off the heels of the under- appreciated sleeper Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, European Gigolo doubles down on everything that made the first as memorable as it was.First of all, the plot is aces above the first installment. Let's check what you would be expecting in Male Gigolo according to IMDb Plot Keywords: "obese woman", "character name in title" and "fish tank." For European Gigolo? Try "topless female nudity", "sword fight", "reference to Elvis Presley", "artificial leg" and "penis joke"! I could go on, but they only let you write a maximum of 1000 words for these reviews. Which movie do you want to see now? Exactly. Is this the funnier of the two movies? I think Rob Schneider in an adult baby costume has the answer to that question. In production, Schneider sat down and said, "We need so many laughs in European Gigolo that they will need to pump oxygen into the theater" and boy, did he ever follow through on that promise. You spend most of the movie thinking, "Man, how is Deuce going to get out of this one?" and--can you believe it--he pulls it off somehow in a way that is raunchy, gut-busting and often compelling. Some of the better examples:Case One: clearly drugged Deuce thinks he is fondling a woman but it is actually Eddie Griffin! Gets out of it by saying that he is on "space cake."Case Two: Deuce gets into an altercation at the Man-Whore awards (it gets better). My DVD skipped most of this scene but not this legendary exchange:Gaspar Voorsboch: "No, My penis exploded!" Deuce Bigalow: "O.k."Case Three: Framed for a murder he did not commit, Deuce serves the punishment for his crime: death by Dutch firing squad. As they ready their rifles one by one, Deuce winks directly at the camera and blurts, "you know what they say about the size of a man's gun!" before being shot dead inside an abandoned warehouse.Funny, funny stuff. An easy 9/10 for me. This is definitely the type of movie to watch after a few nose beers--or as the Dutch call it, "narcotics"!

What a waste of time to me this movie took an amusing little movie and made a sequel which basically was a mishmash of ideas and reusing the same jokes from the first. The acting was bad, the premise was absurd and basically it took a five minute sketch and stretched it out for 90 minutes yecch. Basically Deuce has to get back to man whoring to save his old pimp Tj in Amsterdam of all places. This movie used old stereotypes plays on the supposive ignorance of Americans abroad and basically reaches for something funny. All the characters are shallow and silly and it was a wreck...Rob Schneider can be good in small roles but he can not carry a film the new actress who's name i cannot remember basically is your new blonde goddess who falls for Deuce..talk about not happening in real life.

I loved 'Deuce Bigalow:Male Gigolo.'Even though the sequel was much funnier than the first,I can't admit that it was as good as the first.Sure, there were more funnier moments in it,but the first had more potential. The plot is basically the same as 'Male Gigolo',only it takes place in Amsterdam.Rob Schneider and Eddie Grifin return to their same roles as in the first.Rob Schneider plays Deuce Bigalow and Eddie Griffin plays TJ the man-whore.So you can tell that there's a good cast in this movie, since those are the only actors that I know in the movie. There's more gross-out humor and inappropriate dialouge than the first, which basically keeps the movie flowing.Bottom line? This is a worth-watching comedy that fans of the first movie will enjoy.

I was in the mood for something light and brainless to be honest and Duce Biglow: Eurpeon Giglow just seemed like a great way to pass the time. I know that the humour is something a 14 year would enjoy but on the other hand I don't watch that much comedy which probably means why I thought this was funny. I was not expecting an arts movie with clever witty humour but on the other hand if your looking for some brainless fun then this will come as a nice change just don't expect too much I mean after all we are all entitled to cut lose once in a while giving the year we have just had !HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONEDEUCE BIGALOW: European GIGOLO - 6.7 OUT OF 10
