View MoreEMPIRE OF THE APES is an indescribably bad shot-on-video indie rip-off of PLANET OF THE APES featuring a bunch of jerks running around in the woods in gorilla masks and pronouncing their dialogue really badly. It's even worse than PLAY-MATE OF THE APES, a previous erotic version of the story I saw. The main characters are a trio of astronaut women wearing very little and delivering their dialogue in an embarrassing way. The video FX help to ensure that this is nightmarishly amateurish.
