Good story, Not enough for a whole film

A story that's too fascinating to pass by...

The acting in this movie is really good.

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

Four orphans are given a different chance in life when they accidentally find lucky golden tickets. This is not actually a movie, it's a parody, or, better said, a series of parodies, put together in on single film. It tries desperately to make fun of every single known brand hoping to make everyone laugh but it doesn't get even close. It doesn't have any essence, any complexity, any idea of a story, just sequences joined together with "glue", hoping that something might come out of the final product. It has so many goofs and faults that it makes you wonder if it was really finished. Not to mention the actual characters which are as stupid as a rock can be. It had one single upside, the music (good music unrelated to anything from this movie). Overall, you cannot even consider it a movie. Even so, it's bad...it's REALLY bad. For your own good, just don't watch it!

Oh, look! Another movie by Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer! I don't respect these guys' work, not at all. "Epic Movie" is no exception.The humor was lazy, the only slightly funny parody was the one in the beginning and even that one wasn't exactly very clever.Man, just look at that budget! $20,000,000! They could've done something much better with that amount of money.I, again, vote 3 out of 10. This movie (along with "Disaster Movie" and "Date Movie") don't really deserve to be trashed because they have their moments, too, but they do deserve to be among some of the laziest and most childish parody movies there are. Prove me wrong.

I strongly disagree with the rating this movie got. Get Hard (2015) should have a 2.3. Ark (2005) should have a 1.0, But this... it was nice. I think it had some good humor attached to it (the Pirates of the Caribbean 2 reference, for instance actually does make sense, and made for good laughs in my opinion). Among other things, it had a plot and didn't needlessly generate discordance (hey, since we're speaking of spoilers, I'll put in a spoiler for people - Will Farrell's Get Hard. period).Point being, it's a lampoon of movies which came out at the time. And overall, it handled those lampoons quite well, and where it succeeded was making me feel relaxed and not perturbed (Will Farrell's Get Hard, people). So, jokes apart, watch it. It is epic in its own silly way, and it doesn't shirk away from what it intended to do - it's a lampoon, and that was how it was intended to be.

I saw this movie at a party where we watched heaps of Parodies, Vampires Suck, Superhero Movie, Scary Movie, Disaster Movie by the way, this one was by far the worst. What started out as a hilarious parody of heaps of films turned bad. Lucy from The DaVinci Code, Peter from X-men, Susan from Snakes on a Plane and Edward from Nacho Libre all get Golden Tickets to Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory where they are turned into food, all these scenes were funny, Lucy goes into a Wardrobe and finds to land of Gnarnia, that was the last good joke. They must now defeat the White B!#ch from her plan to destroy Gnarnia and create a Super-Continant. As i have said before a lot of the jokes fell flat, this would have to be worse than Disaster Movie, as the only thing that i enjoyed here that wasn't present in DM was a story, all in all this film has simply 20 minutes of hilarious jokes and then 60 minutes of bad ones. This is the Worst film i have ever seen in my life.
