Truly Dreadful Film

Dynamixor

The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.

The movie really just wants to entertain people.

"Vampires Suck" is a comedy flick which is a full parody of the Twilight Saga and uses its basic plot to build up a series of gags concerning the vampire theme and the mechanisms of this very succesful franchise. What you get here is pretty much Scary Movie with vampires. A huge load of gags, of which some are a bit better, many are just really cheap and obvious. To be fair one has to say, that Twilight delivers quite a lot of ammunition for a movie like this but still I can think of no-one over the age of thirteen who will really have a blast with this film here. I am really not a fanboy of Twilight in any way possible, the cheesiness in this saga is sheer overwhelming. But in the end I have more respect for people producing a cheesy vampire film for teenagers than people who make a bad parody of a movie that often already looks like a bad parody itself. All in all this is something you can watch if you really don't want to think. A few nice gags are hidden between the dozens of others and if you just wish to relax and mock a popular franchise a bit, this might be something for you.

This movie pokes so much fun at the movies adaptation of the books that i had to pick it up on amazon for a penny plus 3.99 shipping. If you like spoofs this one does it with grand style at the expense of the vampire franchise. This movie and Breaking wind are funny. recommended for twilight fans who read the books and then watched the movies. Think of this like BLR version of twilight. This is a B movie so just remember that going in except for the voultori they get Ken Jeong to play the head of the vampires and he is very funny. The glowing reference is taken over the top. This movie had me in stitches when i watched it in the theaters but my dad and brother did not get it. The funny thing is that this movie is not given enough credit with it's references to pop culture the book battle between the main characters edward v.s. jacob. Even to the dance studio fight scene and the bad guys in this movie are hilarious this also has will saso.Final verdict well worth for a spoof buff

Vampires Suck (2010) This yet another spoof, this time it a spoof of Twilight' movie.I do seem to like a lot Spoof movies, such as all the scary movies, Shriek If You Know What I Did Last Friday the Thirteenth, Not another teen movie, Superheor movies, i did enjoy those moviesI did not like date movie, Epic Movie, Disaster Movie or Stan Hellsing and i have not seen Meet the Spartans. However for Vampires Suck, I did not hate and I did not love it and I did enjoy the movie. The movie start of really poor, some of the jokes are way over the top and do not work, but after 20 mins of the movie. It did get a bit better then were some okay jokes scenes which made me laugh few times but it's much better then the god awful Disaster Movie and StanHellsing put together but not as good as any of the Scary movies or even Superhero movie. If you don't like spoof, skip it, and if you liked Shriek If You Know What IDid Last Friday the Thirteenth, then you might like this too .i going this 4 and half out 10 lol

With one hand, I can count how many times I have laughed in this movie. This number is one. The one time I laughed was when that black vampire said this:"I got the munchies. You know what can solve it?" "Cheetos?"-random guy"Thanks man. You're alright with me."I like that they focused Twilight a bit more and got people that actually looked like Edward and Bella. But that type of improvement is like saying that you killed one ant that is part of a 10,000 ant colony. This movie references pop culture in no way that is clever, smart, sneaky or even funny. They say a name of a famous person and point off screen, and it cuts to an impersonator of that said person. I bet that the impersonator's resume will only list this movie.I think that the script was written on a small square napkin while in the waiting room when the directors were about to pitch this idea to Fox. This movie is killing cinema. To think that this beat Scott Pilgrim vs the World on its opening day. Scott Pilgrim vs the World had more potential in the opening credits than Vampire Sucks in its entirety. Ignore this movie. Permanently.
