It's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.

n my opinion it was a great movie with some interesting elements, even though having some plot holes and the ending probably was just too messy and crammed together, but still fun to watch and not your casual movie that is similar to all other ones.

Easily the biggest piece of Right wing non sense propaganda I ever saw.

It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

Fantastic film! It checks all the boxes that a romantic comedy should! Drew Barrymore was of course, amazing, and while it took me a minute or two to get used to seeing Justin Long playing a serious character (I just happen to have seen him play a lot of strange or less serious roles) he did a marvelous job of breaking the mold and was even quite the hottie in his role as leading man. I laughed, I cried, I recommend a watch!

I'm a hopeless romantic and proud of it. Unlike most men, I enjoy cute and touching rom coms full of cuddling, sweet words and good intentions. Drew Barrymore is quite the woman-child that are perfect to get featured in a sentimental fare. Sure she is also a "strong working" and "kick ass" girl of our times but at heart, you can see how sensitive she is.So I was expecting something sweet, funny and adorable, just like her...But this is the total opposite of those words.Trust me it's more an horror flick than a romance or comedy one. This is anything but funny, this is utterly embarrassing and the summit of toilet humor. It's badly acted (easily Mrs Barrymore worst performance ever), poorly written and has no soul at all.Do yourself a favor and avoid it like a plague and , instead, go for legit beautiful and touching rom coms with Drew Like "First 50 Dates" and the very funny and adorable "Fever Pitch" with the excellent Jimmy Fallon. You will thank me later !

I read many of the reviews of this movie and I have watched most of the movie, and some parts many many times, but I never got through the whole movie. Just the same, I believe I can write about it and rate it.This movie shows a woman in a relationship that is acted pretty closely to what I expect Drew Barrymore's relationships are really like. She as Erin is not a virgin princess of any sort and she comes across as a realistic woman throughout the movie. Additinally, Garrett comes across as I would expect Justin Long to be really like. Therefore, their relationship appears realistic. Which leads one to say - "So What?" The comedy in this movie is really based around their friends Dan, Box, Corrine and her husband Phil and how they interact with this couple. I had to look up those names, because I did not remember them. The comedy is less than hilarious. The romance is not inspiring or that enticing. The music, well, the Garrett character is involved with music, so, the music is the main reason to watch this movie, (The Cure, The Pretenders, Boxer Rebellion etc). If you have nothing to do on a rainy day, then this might be a way of spending an afternoon, just for a listen (to the music). But the story probably will not stay with you or make you laugh, much, if at all.

I am sure my 15 year old son would think this hilarious as would any other immature person under 25.If you are looking for an even marginally intelligent romcom, look elsewhere. The only person that I know who swears as much as the characters in this film is a Glaswegian work colleague. The humour is generally asinine and the jokes puerile. I would expect better from an actress of the calibre of Drew Barrymore -- I preferred her in ET.I fear for the future of the planet if this nonsense can be regarded as watchable.
