DipitySkillful

an ambitious but ultimately ineffective debut endeavor.

As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.

Go in cold, and you're likely to emerge with your blood boiling. This has to be seen to be believed.

By no means spectacular, oh no, but for a reason I can't explain I actually quite enjoyed Hick, it was engaging and provocative and hit all the right notes in the right way.The character Luli (what a name!) played by the sublimely talented Chloe Grace Moretz is the type of character, and the type of person in real life that I seriously detest, what do these young girls expect, I'm running away from home because I want to go to Vegas, but to get there I need to accept lifts off strangers, snort cocaine, rob places, and be privy to murders..., what!? Stay at home, stay at school, make something of yourself, silly brat! Credit to Chloe Grace for a performance so fine I didn't once get worked up about the characters antics, now that's a sign of a good actor!Eddie Redmayne as his namesake Eddie, Lord oh Lord what do we have here, the ultimate scumbag with no morals and a creepy, clingy demeanour strong enough to put off even the hardiest of viewers..., again the part was played by a highly talented up and comer, and the emotions he evoked were top class.Blake Lively usually a pretty girl plays an anything but pretty girl in the form of chain-smoking, coke snorting Glenda who takes our Luli under her irresponsible wing, showing the youngster all the do not's and hard truths about the society they have the misfortune of living in. The story is predictable hence why I couldn't rate the film any higher, but it wasn't about the story here, it was about characterisation and strong performances by the whole cast made the film enjoyable. I am so glad Chloe Grace has made herself something in the realms of Hollywood since this film was released, she has all the attributes to be a top star, one of the defining actresses of her generation.

I advise that you watch this movie. Why? Because it is somewhat educational for teens. I am a teen I'm just saying. But I'm never going to run away! This movie made me cry, laugh and scared of the fact that this could actually happen and this is real stuff. Overall, this is an amazing movie and you couldn't have picked a better Luli, Chloë just played Luli's rule so greatly. I would of given this a ten if it hadn't had so much swearing. I loved how nicks character came in from the beginning so she knew who he was and trusted him. Throughout this movie there were many predictable moments and I think nick was quite a predictable character. Without giving any spoilers away, to make you want to watch this movie, or maybe you already have seen it and your Here to write a review.whatever you are doing you should definitely watch this movie if your a high school teacher I think they should show this at high schools as I said this is very educational, and because many students don't know what's wrong like Luli here, this would really help to talk through this, and point out what she did wrong. I just loved this movie!

I like highbrow drama as much as the next person, but at the 1 hour mark, nothing much had still happened in this movie.Blake Lively looked confused and not much vested in her role. It's likely she signed on to do this film with expectations, but once it was underway, she lost interest. I love Chloe and probably only made it to 1 hour because she was interesting to watch, but again, nothing interesting happened.Eddie Redmayne is a great actor but even he couldn't save this limp "story". Even after the "murder scene", I was bored and ended up turning it off. What a waste of actors, money, and film.

You know, when you have watched all those superhero movies and fancy visual effects, it can get a little bit comfortable to watch a movie, which describes a story in the background of real life. The plot is actually that sort of eye-catching, but it feels somehow right. Growing up is not like being a new Harry Potter ,or wear a hood to save the city at night. It's all about experiencing new stuffs, not being afraid of standing right in the middle of the world, no matter how weird, how crazy it really is, but to embrace it whenever you want, fight it whenever you want. You are free to go anywhere. You are free to say anything. There's no simple judgment as right or wrong. It's an exploration, an exploration of the world which you haven't read it as a whole. There are elites, there are thousands of idols right there. We always talk about dreams. But are they original, or just a copy of others'? Or are all your dreams simply an inspiration from those who are up in light. Do we have the gut to chase for our own dreams and to truly slay a dragon? What this movie really attracts me is that it simply puts a story up there. You can understand it your way. It's a mixture of different layers of logic, values towards life, almost everything(maybe getting a little bit exaggerated) You can taste it your own way. You can let your imagination run in the sky, do not care to think where it goes. A true great movie or literature or even arts is never about how clear the master of it explains his or hers philosophy, experiences, values towards life, but simply get you a story which can make you think.
