This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.
View MoreThe movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
View MoreThere's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.
View MoreThis movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.
View MoreOK, OK.... Weak script but good concept. The most realistic character was the sleazy agent, played by Ryan Tower. He's been popping up (no pun intended) in the industry from time to time. I wish he got to work with my old friend Vanessa Marcil on Beverly Hills 90210 more. I bet the series would have lasted 1 more season. That would have been one steamy hook up! Also, if you happen to read this "Tori", Tommy Pentridge had one heck of a good time on the 90210 Hawaiian Shoot. Again, slightly above average cinematography. Don't know what happened in post, but the female actors lines are just above the background noise. Since it is a low budget production piece, I did expect to see a few technical flaws. Much of the acting is above average and some characters were very good.
View MoreI saw this movie last week on HBO Encore in Toronto called "Illusions of Sin" a suspense thriller with sexy babes and good looking dudes. The writing was so bad it was humorous. The poor actors (who were good)had to endure this horrific dialog. Rule #1 of writing: "do not repeat the name of the characters over and over and over and over"...give the viewer a break...we get it. You could tell the actors were all doing their very best to perform terrible lines that no one would ever say in the real world. So cliché, so un-everything I cant see straight. I'm giving this movie a 9 because the actors had to endure this movie and to balance out the people who gave it a "1". I read the other "Comments" and low grades..I agree it was like a COMEDY-esquire with the bad writing. The camera shots were OK, the acting pretty good. I liked the pretty gals, the theater boss and the sleaze ball agency dude. The killer was predictable although I thought it could be the sleazy agent. I am going to bed now. Peace all.
View MoreWith a cast featuring Landon and Gabriella Hall, Jennifer Burton, and a couple of cute unknowns in Mellara Gold and Elisa Madison you'd expect spectacular results. Instead we get a unspirited groan-fest that is filled with terrible acting, no fire, and poor "philosophical discussions". Even the story of an actress and her "understudy" (shades of Showgirls) being watched by a stalker is poorly developed.Although the gorgeous and talented Jennifer Burton is in the film, her role is tiny; a throw in. We do get to see the drop-dead gorgeous Landon Hall, but her acting is atrocious. Remember the episode of Seinfeld where Kramer was dating a woman who spoke with an unaudible mumbled voice that got Jerry to unwillingly wear a pirate shirt on a T.V. interview? Landon's performance is just like that, with 60-70% of her lines being difficult to decipher. She's so damn gorgeous, but she's a brutal actress. Mellara Gold plays the understudy and she's O.K. but she's just a Kansas stereotype who has this thing for carnation pink lipstick. Marc Greenberg usually delivers great adult entertainment, but this one is pretty blah.
View MoreThe worst film I've seen recently. It's about as erotic as a root canal. The writing is terrible, the acting is worse and the plot is non-existent.Home videos of the neighbors would be more interesting.
