Reviews

Grimossfer Clever and entertaining enough to recommend even to members of the 1%
Teddie Blake The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
Portia Hilton Blistering performances.
Anoushka Slater While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
moneyhi06 I am big fan of Korean love stories, this movies is no less than that, I love this movie. Acting, songs, everything is nice... its one of the art movie that i love in my life. Music is so d**n good i can stop admiring about it.. Sonakshi sin ha is fairly new, but her acting is admirable. If you love, slow and emotional movies, don't think about it.. just watch it! Rest, IMDb wants me to write, 10 lines, i cant think of anything else.. i don't want to tell story,, so stop reading my review. Watch the movie.. All about that still its not enough... go-ogle it and see the music videos,.. so romantic.. please watch it. Songs are good, acting in well done!
Jyotirath Mitra A Gem amongst Bollywood Romantic MoviesLootera is another beautiful movie from the Udaan man.Unlike the traditional Bollywood romantic movies, this movie casts a magical spell that makes you get lost in the 1950s unknowingly. The first half of the movie is top notch, from direction to plot progress and acting...while the second half takes a different turn and establishes a poetic connection between Bhil Raja's parrot and the last leaf of the winter tree.Only one thing which may be considered a flaw is the setting of the movie in the second half.I still wonder and would be wondering how snowfall used to occur in Dalhousie in the 1950s..Never knew that!!! Barring this, the movie is simply awesome. The proper timing of the music is also worth mentioning. I know that many avoided the movie because of the star cast but trust me or not there cannot be a better acting than that put up by Ranveer and Sonakshi for the movie.I think this is a movie which an Indian can proudly place among the list of Hollywood romantic classics. Go for it...its a Great work!!you will get to see something new!!!
abhijeetgyal ....so beautiful, soulful music, cinematography that's a class apart and a touching story which moves at a slow but absorbing pace..both Sonakshi and Ranveer play a understated part and we can identify with their helplessness.....the movie could have moved at a faster pace in the second half but i guess then it would have robbed off the feel and the impact. Great job by the director too. ...awe i definitely should have watched this at the theaters.....Bollywood does through up pleasant surprises once in a while!! Watch it at a leisure pace to soak it all up!! i would rate it a 8 out of 10, few movies in Bollywood match the production values like this one!!
rahuljonathan-nair Motwane's direction is so assured and confident that this scarcely feels like his second feature. The script is clearly one he believes in, and the film is resultantly free of false-notes. Even the few moments that feel like narrative missteps turn out to be masterstrokes. And, as exemplified by a breathtaking chase sequence that could result in any number of outcomes, Motwane sides with his story, not with any one of his characters. A film, then, about life, love and leaves. And in the end it comes down to the sort of snow-surrounded tree that you can draw even if you've always had trouble drawing leaves. Magnificent. Very beautifully crafted and made!!!
