A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.

It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.

No matter how many times I see this movie, it never gets old. I laugh every time I see it. You can't take it seriously. It is a fun ride. Kennedy ' s role as B-rad the white rapper was perfect. The slang the acting was point on. You have to be a prude to not laugh. There are so many funny moments. Like when they try to prove B-rad is 'cured' by taking him to the movies. Or the ' King Kong' scene. Many many more. Why some want to bash this movie is beyond me. Tye Digs and Anthony Anderson played their role well. There isn't much wrong with this movie. Just let your self go and enjoy. .

John Leguizamo may want us to forget that he made Night Owl. Denise Richards would probably like to buy up and burn all copies of Tammy and the T-Rex, and Demi Moore would probably vehemently deny ever making Parasit. I just wonder how many stars in this film would want us to forget that they were in it.Of course, I only watched it to see Christa Campbell in her small part, but there were some favorites in there also like Taye Diggs (Rent, Equilibrium), Kal Penn (Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle), and Anthony Anderson (Cradle 2 the Grave, Romeo Must Die).To see any of these, I had to suffer through the most ridiculous film that I can imagine. I'm sorry, but it was just painful. It wasn't funny, and I will never intentionally watch anything with Jamie Kennedy again. He goes on my list of Most Hated People in Film.

This is another movie full of stereotypes! A white Eminem Vanilla Ice wannabe is trying to be a rapper. He acts black. What is the definition of acting black? He talks slang and almost sabotaged his dad's political career. Then some black actors who are acting white, (define acting white) Taye Diggs and Anthony Anderson, starts acting black and kidnaps him and takes him to the ghetto. Fly Regina Hall pretends to like the white guy, but sabotages his good time with two other fly black girls. She ends up really liking him in the end. Look for a cameo appearance by Niecy Nash in this movie. There are a lot of stereotypical crazy adventures in this movie.

I just can't begin to describe how horribly offensive this movie was. A could count on a hand missing 2 fingers the things that were funny in this movie. The part where "B-rad" was in the shrinks office and he said "I told you, thats my slave name." I always found mocking black nationalism to be funny (Nat X on Saturday Night Live was great). When the rabbi asks Brad what the theme of his bar mitzvah is going to be and Brad says "its O.P.P. bitch!" And finally, the part were the ganstas that "kidnapped" Brad said when Brad asked if they wanted some pringles, the gansta says, "this ain't no picnic bitch." Other than those few things the movie was rather stale. It could have been better with some better actors though.
